Place was absolutely lovely. Perfect get away for a long weekend. We enjoyed the home, amenities and scenery. Upstairs bath was a little dirty. Needs a good scrubbing on the ceiling and walls, due to moisture. Thank you for the amazing experience.

We had a wonderful time and will stay here again when we come back to Bozeman. The location is perfect and so peaceful with great views. The Ranch has great space for our crew of 7- good living space and the outdoor deck got plenty of use!
We had a wonderful time making family memories during our stay! The house is spotless and the beds are super comfortable. We loved the location, we will definitely be back!

You can’t beat this home for excellent location and beautiful views. You are 15 minutes from charming downtown Bozeman and multiple day hiking trips!
Large home where you are able to spread out!
This house was perfect for our family. House has everything you need. The hiking trails are an easy walk and a big bonus . I would definitely recommend this place to a large group. The outdoor spaces are so comfortable with gorgeous views.
The house was great to come back to after going out to see some of the beautiful places that Montana has to offer.
Great views and one of my personal best memories was watching a storm go through the valley and listening to the thunder roll and echo. Plenty of great places to gather everyone together and plenty of room if you're wanting some privacy.

Incredible home on beautiful land!
Friends surprised a Bozeman local to celebrate her 40th birthday with a relaxing weekend in this home. Great rooms, nice entertaining space, and wonderful outdoor sitting areas. We saw tons of wildlife around the house.

Hi Sarah - Wow, what awesome friends! I can't think of better birthday gift than a weekend away in such a pretty location. We hope you'll do it again soon, but before there's another landmark birthday! - Suzy at Mountain Home Vacation Rentals
We had a wonderful time staying in this home, which is close to town and amazing trails and hikes. The home is perfectly set up for two families or parents with adult children who want a little more space. The deck was perfect for watching wildlife wander through and for relaxing with a good book. Highly recommend!
The Sourdough Ranch Main house is an amazing property. Beautiful view, walking distance to tons of hiking trails, and only a short drive into town. The house itself exceeded expectations, extremely clean, lots of room to spread out and the kitchen had everything we needed for a week and a half stay. I would highly recommend this property and plan to stay here again in the future.
The property was beautiful. Experienced gorgeous sunsets and fireworks from the porch. So much to do in the area. Rafting, horseback riding, music festivals and of course Yellowstone. The pond on the property is stocked with fish for catch and release. Sourdough Canyon trail is really close by and is a beautiful, easy hike.
We came with three other couples and had a great time! There was plenty of room for everyone and each couple had their own bathroom. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed ( except an ice cream scoop). The house is just far enough from town to make it secluded but close enough that you can be at the grocery store in five minutes! We would definitely stay there again!

The perfect getaway!
The sourdough ranch was the perfect place to getaway! We were in town for a wedding and are so glad we chose to stay there versus a hotel. Comfortably slept two families and two children with room to spare. Stairs in the house even had a safety gate. The cabin was VERY clean. One of the cleanest VRBOs I’ve ever stayed in. Kitchen was amazing and had everything you need. The front porch is stunning with beautiful views. We saw a lot of wildlife, even a large moose! It was a short stay & we Can’t wait to come back one day.

Hi Ben - Thanks so much for your kind words about Sourdough Ranch. We agree that it's a special spot and we do try to keep our homes in top shape so guests have only pleasant surprises - like super clean homes and moose in the yard! We hope that you can come stay again soon! - Suzy at Mountain Home Vacation Rentals
We had a large group in town for graduation ceremonies at MSU. This home provided plenty of space and the awesome kitchen was well stocked for cooking large meals. We did struggle a bit at first getting up the driveway with fresh snowfall on it. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is probably necessary in winter. The huge wrap around deck offers awesome views and there was abundant wildlife around. It was really great to stay in this beautifully crafted home. The pool table was really fun too! Thank you!

Amazing views, outdoor space, and well decorated cabin!
Loved the peace and quiet of this out of town, but not too far away, house. A very restful getaway. Two beds and two baths were equally nice. Good ATT cell and data coverage, and the house has wifi that worked well. Kitchen is very well stocked with equipment and basic seasonings, etc. There are some negative comments in the reviews about the newly constructed water treatment plant. It was a non-issue for us. It is down and to the side, and not very tall. Still plenty of great views to enjoy!

Hi Justin -
Glad you had such a good experience ant Sourdough Ranch. We love it there, too. And yes, The water plant's construction project (for other readers: it's Bozeman's fresh water supply that comes from the mountains, it's not a sewage treatment plant) is now completed, landscaped, and very quiet. I am very particular about views and don't like an eyesore any more than the next guy, but I also find the water facility to be a non-issue. It's a tidy, quiet building off to one side...while the views in the other direction are FABulous! Thanks for staying with us and we hope you'll be able to come back soon. - Suzy and the rest of the crew at Mountain Home Vacation Rentals
