A wonderful getaway in the Chiemgau Mountains. Peace, serenity, time, and a soothing treatment at our on-site naturopathic practice will help you relax and rejuvenate.

Afterwards, take a moment to reflect on the treatment and wind down the day in your room?
The next morning, a lovingly prepared breakfast made mostly from regional and organic ingredients awaits you, giving you a strong start to the day.
The Naturpension Rottau is nestled in the heart of the Chiemgau Mountains. Lake Chiemsee is just a few minutes away, and countless hiking trails offer you a relaxing experience in nature. You can easily reach us via the A8 highway, and from there it’s just a 10-minute drive to our guesthouse.
Trains stop hourly at the nearby train stations in Bernau, Prien, and Übersee, making them ideal for day trips to Salzburg or Munich.
For 2025, we’re planning a variety of monthly activities, such as: alkaline fasting, a women’s weekend with a trip to Fraueninsel, stone painting, herb walks, detox and liver cleansing weeks, fairy tale evenings, music around the campfire, and perhaps much more. Exact dates will be announced later.

Our “Wolke 7” holiday apartment gently takes you away from your everyday life and guides you into a relaxing getaway.
“Wolke 7” features a small, rustic kitchen-diner and a cosy bedroom with two single beds.
Enjoy a mountain view from the breakfast table and start your day off right with a wonderful holiday morning.
You’re also welcome to enjoy your healthy, regional breakfast in our breakfast room.

Nearby is Lake Chiemsee, home to Herreninsel, where you can visit Herrenchiemsee Castle, built by King Ludwig II. Another beautiful island on Lake Chiemsee is Fraueninsel. The Chiemgau Mountains offer wonderful hiking opportunities, and you can enjoy traditional snacks at one of our many alpine huts. Salzburg and Munich are about an hour away.
