The Buschmühle is a former watermill nestled in the lovely Frelsbach Valley. Four holiday apartments with a total of 12 beds have been converted in the former stable building of this three-winged complex. During the renovation of the half-timbered building, eco-friendly building materials were carefully selected to create a comfortable indoor climate.
Surrounding the Buschmühle are meadows and forests, and the Frelsbach stream flows just a few metres past the building. The Rochlitzer-Kohrener-Land cycling and hiking trail also follows the Frelsbach. Beavers have settled along the stream’s natural course and can be heard and seen in the mornings and evenings.
From the Buschmühle, shops for daily necessities are easily accessible (Rochlitz/Geithain, approx. 5 km), and the train station is located in Geithain. There is an organic supermarket in the neighbouring village (1 km). For art and culture, the castles of Rochlitz and Colditz are nearby, and the cities of Leipzig, Chemnitz, and Dresden are easily accessible for day trips.
