Welcome to our holiday home.

Here you will find all important information about the holiday home, as well as further details about the surrounding area and nearby activities.

To ensure the privacy of our guests, both houses are rented together as one combined property, even if the guest house is not needed.

An 18-foot motorboat with a 60 hp engine, echo sounder and chart plotter can also be rented for an additional fee. The price is 70 EUR per day, and the minimum rental period is one week, the same as for the house. Since the area is very popular with fishing enthusiasts, we provide a certificate for fish export. The allowance is 15 kg per person.

Pets are welcome on request. However, the maximum number is one pet, for example one dog.

Living area: Bright and inviting living room with an open kitchen and direct access to the balcony and terrace

Other: A large 30 sqm basement room offers additional space and has its own fish-cleaning station

Guest house:

Living space: 45 sqm

Bedrooms: 3 separate bedrooms

Special features: Simple but functional – ideal for overnight guests, large families or groups

Interior and equipment:

Free Wi-Fi, internet TV, coffee machine, toaster, oven, microwave, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner, washing machine, freezer capacity of 500 litres, garden furniture, barbecue, fireplace and fish-cleaning station in the basement

Extras:

For exciting trips on the Norwegian fjords, a powerful jet ski including trailer is also available. It can be rented separately on request and subject to availability. The minimum age is 18 years.

Life jackets are available.

The nearest major city is Bergen. It is one of Norway’s largest cities and is located about 60 minutes by car from the holiday home. There is plenty to do there: several shopping malls, restaurants, an old town, a viewing platform on one of the seven mountains surrounding the city with a view over Bergen, and a well-known fish market. You can also enjoy many leisure activities there, such as guided horse-riding tours, kayaking, climbing in a climbing park with zipline, swimming and diving, go-karting, bowling, visiting a trampoline park, ice skating, mini golf and much more. There are also plenty of activities close to the holiday home itself. Various hiking trails and several harbours can be found in the surrounding area. The harbour with the private boat is about 5 minutes by car from the holiday home. From there, you can take a boat trip through the Norwegian fjords.

If you are planning a little more, then in addition to a trip to Bergen, a visit to the nearby island of Fedje is also worthwhile. The ferry harbour is about 30 minutes by car from the holiday home, and the crossing itself takes around 30 minutes and is free of charge. On the island you will find a picturesque old fishing village and numerous coastal hiking trails. You can choose between well-maintained paths and more natural trails over rougher terrain. In good weather, this is very much worth seeing.

Fishing enthusiasts will also enjoy the area. Local fish species include saithe, cod, pollock, redfish, ling, herring, mackerel and halibut. In the basement of the holiday home there is a private fish-cleaning station and freezer capacity of 500 litres.

Nearby shops, including a supermarket, pharmacy, electronics store and petrol station with electric car charging point, are located about 5 minutes by car from the holiday home in Austrheim.
