INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach. 


E-Checks are accepted for advance reservations at no additional charge (15 days prior to check in). All credit card payments will incur a 3.5% convenience fee.

Wonderful condo

We had a great time staying in this condo. Great views of the ocean. The condo was very clean when we arrived. The only complaint was the sleeper sofa mattress was very uncomfortable for the person that slept on it. We would stay in this condo again.

2024 family vacation

In the beginning we had to get cleaners in to change sheets and clean floors.. needed a new couch bed all issues were fixed and we had such a good time we extended our vacation.. also beach service is not included it is about 80.00 a day so bring your ownttent..and wagon.

We had a good time. However, expect to wait a long time for the elevators. This is the developers fault, not the owner. Convenient to the West End and Pier Park.

Family spring break

We loved our vacation! The condo is perfect, everything we needed. It could use an overall deep clean of things (windows, cobwebs, kitchen) but who’s house doesn’t? Beds were okay but not ideal for comfort but linens were all perfect. Debbie from Panhandle getaways was fantastic at answering all questions, only complaint was check in was sent to us by text rather than email and being from out of country we did not have phones yet hooked up. Overall we can’t wait to come back! Thanks!

Lovely rental but…

The rental was beautiful and the very spacious. The elevators are HORRIBLE! It’s not an exaggeration to say you can wait 45 mins or more for an elevator. Staying on the 18th floor that creates an issue after a long day. The washer and dryer were both tore up. Contacted the rental company and the responses were fast. YET!!! They never showed up. We had to hang and air dry our towels due to not being able to get any more.

We won't stay here again

When people say the elevators are terrible, please believe them! Was even worse with 1 parking elevator down and 1 main elevator "Closed for modernization". Tensions were very high with all guests. Be prepared to add 15 minutes to leaving/arriving at non-peak times, and possibly 30 minutes during peak times. The room was large and pretty up to date, we really liked it. Balcony was smaller than we thought by the pics. Panhandle Getaways didn't seem too concerned with my issues with the room. Air conditioning issues, much warmer in bedrooms - had to use 3 fans and ceiling fan to keep children's bedroom comfortable, and 1 fan and ceiling fan in master bedroom. They said with main thermostat saying 70, the AC was working properly. Reported roaches in the room. Not a huge infestation, but several were found around the stove. and nothing was done for at least 2 days. I reported again, but still not sure if they ever had an exterminator out.

Wait time for elevators sucks!

When we got there we figured it was because everyone was checking in was the reason behind the elevators. BOY we were wrong! It took 45 minutes to get an elevator. And there are several there! All the elevators were slow and you had to long of a wait! 45 minutes- 1 hour just to get on an elevator is ridiculous! Especially when you are on the 18th floor!!!

Had to relocate twice

We had to move to another room once we got there because the door was kicked in and refrigerator leaking. Then we had to move back the next day and no one told us that!

Disappointment

Our rental was pretty much like advertised, but could use some work. There were a few problems: (1) there was one (1) teaspoon, and three (3) forks in the silverware drawer which certainly wouldn't be enough for a couple or a family; (2) no filter was in the dryer; (3) two of the three TV's didn't work--the one in the living room couldn't get a signal and when it was reported to the management company (Panhandle Getaways) nothing was ever done, and no one contacted us the entire stay; (4) the available TV channels were totally foreign to us and no guide was provided----get regular cable TV!; (5)the toilet in the master bath sounded like it was going to fall over every time a person got up from it. In regards to the resort itself I think we visitors are nickel and dimed to death! We pay quite a bit for the week and then have to PAY EXTRA FOR THE PARKING PASS AND WRISTBANDS---they should be included in the cost of the rental for Pete's sake, especially the wristbands since they were required for building access!! I can, to a limited degree, see why there was a cost to using a lounge chair out on the beach........ BUT I think that $50 per day is ridiculously overpriced. There were long waits for an elevator-- they all should be available.

Condo needs updating.

The sofa is beyond uncomfortable! It is worn out. The two regular beds had twin size sheets that didn't fit. Mattresses not good.

Big room not clean

The room was spacious. Couch was so dingy, I had to put sheets on it for my family to sit on it. The floors were so dirty when we got in the room I had to mop them 2x!!! The overall cleanliness of the room was terrible!!! Needs work. The master bath toilet ran, and ran, and ran....... the tv in the double bed room didn’t even turn on. The indoor pool was closed one day bc they had to drain it. The elevator wait was ehhh mediocre. I’ve seen worse, but also seen better. Probably will not be booking in the future.

Enjoyed the stay. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Overall the condo was clean. Just needed a broom that was not broken in half and there was no dust pan and when you bring sand in everyday a broom and dust pan would have helped. The pullout couch was awful. We used several blankets to lay on and it was still uncomfortable. The condo was very spacious. Pools were nice and not over crowded!

Too Busy. Check in complicated.. Hated wearing arm band wasn't removable

Elevators took forever almost every time , no one told us about the $25 parking/armband fee, can't unload out front. Took over an hour just to get checked in. Actual condo room was very nice.

Wonderful condo and resort. Would definitely stay again.

Overall very nice and felt safe with all of the security guards around. The hot tub wasn't on or wasn't working and the water was cold.

It was Beautiful and we will definitley be booking again!

This property was Beautiful! It was nicely decorated and comfortable for all 8 of us. The only downfall was we noticed when we went to take a bath the drain plug was broken (off the screw) we could still enjoy the tub but it was broken. As well as the door to the boys bathroom. One of the hinges when you opened it just came right out! (The holes were stripped) Other than that it was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking if you wanted to stay in. The view was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I also liked how the security checks for wristbands as well. We took our family down for springbreak and our children range from 18 all the way down to 6. There were a few "springbreakers" renting other units being a little wild but overall it was pretty family friendly. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitley be booking in the future! The condo was awesome; and what a view!

We arrived a bit early due to the time change, but everyone was very accommodating. The condo was wonderful. We have plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were furnished and decorated. The kitchen had everything that we needed. We had an awesome view from this condo. It was great to wake up in the morning, get a cup of coffee, and sit out on the balcony watching the sun come up. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
