GROUND FLOOR: The modern kitchen, equipped with every conceivable appliance and featuring an antique Biedermeier bench, opens onto the dining room with a large wooden table, characterful chairs, and sitting balls—perfect for sharing meals or playing cards. The living room, with its velvet sofa and charming wood-burning stove, invites you to engage in deep conversations, find some quiet time, and relax together. The landlord has deliberately chosen not to include a TV: the focus here is on relaxing together without distractions. High-speed Wi-Fi, a separate bathroom, and a washing machine are available. UPPER FLOOR: Two large, cosy bedrooms — “Red Flower Meadow” as the couple’s room and “Green Flower Meadow” with 1.80 m wide Wildbuch double beds—as well as a connecting room with a library, workspace, and a pull-out Japanese futon chair are available. The bookshelf, filled with treasures from the worlds of literature, architecture, art, psychology, nutrition, nature, and meditation, invites you to read and reflect. WOODEN DECKS AND THE GARDEN: The LICHTZEIT Guesthouse features two beautiful wooden decks—one facing south, bathed in morning sun for breakfast, and a nearly 30-square-meter wooden deck facing north that hovers high above the garden like a ship’s deck. Here, you can see the stars and the Milky Way at night and marvel at shooting stars—because Finsterau is part of a Star Park thanks to its exceptional light quality. A 50% prepayment may be charged after your booking. Payment is due in advance via bank transfer or in cash on-site. Check-in is available from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Check-out is available from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Keys are handed over in person on-site or via a key safe. Dogs are generally not allowed. If needed, an additional cot (for children up to 3 or 4 years old) can be set up on the ground floor. A high chair is available. If you need both, please specify this when booking!
