Perfectly located near the A8 highway (Merklingen interchange) and the Schwäbische Alb train station (800 m), the apartment offers the ideal starting point for unforgettable experiences in the Schwäbische Alb or as a luxurious stopover on your journey.

The 100-square-meter apartment, which we lovingly renovated, redesigned, and furnished, was completed in September 2024 after 2.5 years of construction and is located in Laichingen-Machtolsheim, 8 minutes from the A8 highway, right on the edge of a field. The spacious outdoor area (approx. 400 square meters) with a sauna, pool, wraparound terrace, private grill, and a beautiful green space is exclusively at your disposal
The apartment itself features floor-to-ceiling windows all around and offers a stunning panoramic view.
It features a living area with a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with the latest appliances and a dining area, a bedroom with a box-spring bed, a flat-screen TV, and a bathtub, as well as a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. A hair dryer, towels, bathrobes, and toiletries are provided.
The apartment includes a free parking space and a separate entrance.
It features Starlink, Waipu (including Netflix—included in the price), and a private workspace with a printer.
During the colder months, the beautiful panoramic wood-burning stove creates a cozy atmosphere.
A maximum of 2 dogs are welcome.
Upon arrival, your furry friend will receive a warm welcome with a treat. Poop bags are always on hand for daily walks. Food bowls are provided, and there are 2 outdoor areas (for small and medium-sized dogs). We also provide towels for your four-legged friends. The apartment has hardwood floors with underfloor heating. Your furry friends are welcome to use the entire outdoor area. You’re welcome to let your dogs run free here—however, the property is currently only partially fenced.

Rules for your furry friends’ stay:
Your dogs should
- be house-trained if possible
- definitely bring a blanket or bed
- avoid lying in bed or on the sofa if possible
- do not chew on furniture
- have dog liability insurance for all “furry friends”

The hosts offer a shuttle service to the Merklingen train station upon request.
