Older home with issues
Longer stay than we are used to, but the house had all we needed. It was an older home (1960s) that had few updates, and had a number of cosmetic issues. The pool was great, location excellent, AC worked well as did all the appliances.
The house was lovely and in a nice neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting by the pool in the great weather. The appliances were better than the ones I have at home, and most of mine are new. We managed to lock ourselves out of the house at one time, and the manager came right into town to let us in. Can’t ask for better service than that.
This 3 bedroom home 🏡 with swimming pool has everything you need when you are away from home! Fantastic kitchen, big living room, & comfortable bedrooms!
We spent of couple weeks here to wind down after a busy holiday season. It fit the bill perfectly. Nice home, nice neighborhood, nice city, nice weather!! Would definitely consider staying here again.
Loved the house! Very comfortable beds and kitchen was well-stocked. There was more than we needed. However, I would randomly check up on cleaning crew to make sure they are stocking the house with necessities like bath soap, laundry detergent and toilet paper, all of which we had to make a special trip to buy. Also the shower curtains need to be washed.
This home met all our needs. I wish it would have been warm enough to use the pool!😞. Close to all of our favorite places and perfect for morning walks! Thank you for sharing your lovely home.
We truly felt at home. The property was as advertised, clean comfortable, good neighborhood and close to all amenities.
Just a couple of small notes. There were some towels left in the dryer that we had to re-wash and a few dishes as well. The master bathroom did have some hair in both sinks. Small issues. We would recommend this property to anyone and thouroughly enjoyed our stay.
The house inside, even though an older one was very clean, and a nice layout I would give this a five the backyard needs some work as things are starting to fall apart. The pool definitely needs work. Cracks on the bottom cracks all the way around the water itself was clean with a good system. The neighbourhood was excellent. If you want to place to take a family, I would recommend this as the house has a perfect layout. Thanks for everything guys.

Not as good as last stay.
When we stayed in October of last year I had no complaints. However, when my husband and daughter stayed this time it was not so good. The pool liner needs replaced, the toilet in the main bathroom still ran all night and there was no propane in the grill when they went to make dinner. They were not as happy with the stay the second time. Might have to find a new location next time we visit, which is sad because this house was great last visit.
Wasnt very clean or stocked. The ceiling fans are covered in dust. The pool was full of stuff we had to clean before using. Missing hamd soap in the bathrooms. The floors turned our socks and feet black. Just needs a good scrub down and stocking of just general supplies like hand soap, dish washer soap, and paper towels.
We tried to check in at 4:00pm and couldn't the maid she was still cleaning. The house was dirty and there was an infestation of crickets! The master bed looked like someone gave birth in it! There was pee stains and a huge brown stain all over the mattress! We did not stay we checked out and called the owner. The owners were very apologetic and understanding and refunded all of our money.
Our stay at this house was overall very good.
PROS: (a) Neighbourhood definitely quiet; (b) Everything in house worked well; (c) Owners are suberb; we had a problem with TV on our arrival, and they came right over to fix. (d) Backyard is nice, including a small putting green (putters & balls in house), plus a nice sitting area under cover. (e) Pool looked nice, although we did not use because it was winter and water was not heated. (f) We have 2 small dogs, but backyard is fully fenced and with a gate to front, so dogs secure.
CONS: Not much. However, (a) Almost no clothes hangers on arrival, so we bought and left 36. (b) No casserole dish with lid.
Is a great place for either a short or long (we were there 2 weeks) stay.

Home was not very clean, very outdated
Primary bathroom toilet rocked in place, no can opener so had to use my pocket knife, outdoor shade was blown by wind which banged against post and kept us up at nite, pool doesn’t have a cover so had a bunch of debris in it, queen bed in secondary bedroom squeaked so bad my daughter slept in the other bedroom so as not to disturb her boyfriend - not a nice home
This was our second year of "VRBOing it". Our goal was to escape at least a portion of the long Upper Michigan winter, so we were looking for someplace WARM. We have good friends who winter in Yuma and speak very highly of the place so we decided to give it a try. Because of our dog, we were looking for a single family home with an enclosed yard. This property fit the bill nicely. The swimming pool was an added benefit. Unfortunately a particularly cool spring kept us out of the pool (I finally took the plunge on our last day). As older folks, we appreciated the single story. The house was spacious and had all of the comforts. There is a lot to see and do in the Yuma area and the house is located close enough to facilitate shopping and tourism, but far away enough from the hustle and bustle. It is actually located in a cul-de-sac which considerably cut down on the noise and traffic. We had everything that we needed, so there was really no need to contact the owners during our stay. I'm rambling so in closing I'd just like to say that we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

You get what you pay for!
It was great that we were able to have our pups stay with us, the reservation process with them was quite unexpected, we had a choice of paying for damage insurance that would cover a ridiculous amount of damages, or to put down a deposit for that same ridiculous amount. No way to win that one. The place is as pictured, however you only see what they want you to see. Cabinets in kitchen and bath are showing their age, Linens are limited in quantity, so if you are traveling with a family, plan on supplementing. Absolutely no kitchen towels, and only 2 beach/pool towels. The pool is in definite need of service, sand is accumulating at the bottom and algae growing on the sides. Although we did not need to use the kitchen, I think I would have been more disappointed! Yes this is an upscale neighborhood, but couldn't help but feel that this property is just not being cared for. Owner was quick to assist in remedying Wi-Fi problem.

Was pretty misleading and didn’t look the same as the pictures
Bedding was not white. None of it!! It was disgusting and looked like it was from 1990. I’m glad we brought other sheets just in case like I always do when we rent homes. Pool is not heated and some of the tiles where laying on the ground when we arrived. The pool cleaner never showed up the whole time we were there and we should’ve seen someone at least twice. The paint has changed on the fencing in the back and the plants are overgrown. All the towels and some other bedding was in the dryer along with dirty rags in the washer that hadn’t been washed. We won’t be renting this house again. The fridge was also dirty and hadn’t been wiped down so we literally didn’t use it. Super unhappy with the way the home was compared to what the pictures show here online!!!!
We had a great time and loved the space in the home. We had a great time and made many happy memories!

In 2014 Misty & I relocated from Oregon to our date farm located in Wellton AZ. Although we initially intended to live in this home we both fell in love with farm living & only visit for a dip in the pool or a couple of nights getaway from the farm when guests are not staying. We active owners & enjoy spending time making improvements to the home as time & money allow.
Why they chose this property
We love the desert southwest & had enjoyed visiting Yuma for many years prior to purchasing our home. When the opportunity arose to participate in our family date farm business we decided the time was right to purchase a home. We really wanted to be in a well established neighborhood of well cared for homes in addition it was important to us to be in the heart of the community. Although we don't live in our home full time, we truly cherish & enjoy the time we do have there.
What makes this property unique
Location, location, location as they say... You name it, it is very near by... Hospital, shopping, jogging trial, golf, international airport, Colorado River, multiple parks, restaurants, casinos, water park, off roading, hiking & even Mexico.... All with in 15 minutes of the house.
