This spacious holiday rental (110 square metres), furnished in the American country house style, offers a relaxing retreat in a charming house with over 100 years of history, combined with plenty of modern comforts and luxury. It occupies the entire ground floor of the cottage. During your stay, the house and garden are for the exclusive use of the holiday rental’s guests—you’ll have the place all to yourselves (no other residents)! There’s plenty of space for everyone to feel at home... whether you’re socialising together or just want to retreat to your own space: a cosy living room with a large flat-screen TV (Smart TV, cable TV) and a “crackling” (electric) fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, electric stove/oven/ceramic cooktop, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, 2 bedrooms, each with a double box-spring bed and a flat-screen TV, 2 additional bedrooms (each with 1 single bed), and a spacious bathroom with a rain shower and double sink. All windows are equipped with electric blinds, so everyone can adjust the lighting to their preferred level for sleeping. Good Wi-Fi is available throughout the property and is free of charge. Well-behaved dogs are very welcome (upon request). The house is surrounded by a fully fenced, natural garden with mature trees, where you can run around, play, and relax to your heart’s content. A rustic barbecue area with a large, exclusive fire pit (with a grill ring) invites you to enjoy cosy barbecue evenings under the old trees. The quiet location on the edge of the forest—close to the Bocksberg Adventure World with its mountain bike park and other attractions, and just a few metres from the famous “Liebesbankweg” (Love Bench Trail) and the ponds (with a water playground)—is ideal for setting out on hikes, walks, and bike tours directly from the house. (Mountain bikers are welcome to store their bikes securely in the basement upon request. An 11 kW charging station is available on the property for charging electric vehicles: the cost of electricity used here is not included in the rental price and will be billed separately based on consumption.)
