Exotic Indian Home is a quiet, tastefully furnished ground-floor holiday rental with a private garden (approx. 400 square metres). It’s perfect for couples, those interested in spirituality, or remote workers seeking comfort and cultural depth.

The apartment features two bedrooms—one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The second bedroom is also set up as a fully functional workspace, equipped with a desk and chair, ideal for guests who work remotely. High-speed Wi-Fi (100 Mbit/s) ensures smooth work and streaming. The living room is cosy and features a flat-screen TV with Amazon Prime. Traditional Indian musical instruments enhance the special atmosphere.

The kitchen is fully equipped and offers everything you need for self-catering. The adjacent dining area is perfect for sharing meals together. Upon request, we can also prepare freshly cooked vegetarian Indian dishes for you (for an additional fee). The bathroom features a bathtub, and there is a separate toilet for added comfort.

The private garden (400 square metres) offers a peaceful setting with beautiful views—ideal for yoga, a cup of tea, or moments of quiet reflection. For active recreation, badminton, boxing equipment, and board games such as chess and cards are available.

We, Bhabajeet Kalita and Dr. Karishma Kashyap, are an Indian-German host couple. I, Bhabajeet, work as a Lead AI/ML Solutions Architect in Germany and run the YouTube channel “Exotic Astrology,” which has over 100.000 subscribers. My wife, Karishma, is an Ayurvedic doctor with several years of experience in India. Together, we aim to offer our guests a unique blend of relaxation, culture, and holistic well-being. We warmly welcome you and look forward to making your stay as pleasant as possible.

Our accommodation is located in Grainet, a quiet village in the Bavarian Forest. The area is known for its clean air, nature trails, and warm hospitality. In just 15 minutes, you can reach the unique Simhachalam Temple of Lord Narasimha—a spiritual site that attracts visitors from all over Germany. The nearest town, Waldkirchen, is only a 10-minute drive away and offers everything you need for daily life: supermarkets, pharmacies, cafés, bakeries, and small shops.

The city of Passau—the gateway to the three rivers, the Danube, Inn, and Ilz—is also nearby and is ideal for day trips. The charming old town, river promenades, and boat tours make Passau particularly worth visiting. Nature lovers can explore the Bavarian Forest National Park, which offers numerous hiking trails, scenic viewpoints, and opportunities to experience nature—many of which start right near the accommodation. Other popular destinations such as Freyung, Haidmühle, Philippsreut, and the Czech border are also easily accessible.
