Welcome! We are delighted to welcome you to the heart of Wangerland, in the charming historic fishing village of Hooksiel, and are pleased that you are interested in our holiday apartments. Thanks to the ideal location near the North Sea, with the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea right on your doorstep and a five-kilometre sandy beach, you have the perfect setting for a relaxing and varied holiday.



There are countless leisure activities to enjoy. Hooksmeer, directly opposite the beach, offers you a wide range of activities such as surfing, sailing, water skiing, kitesurfing, Nordic walking, cycling, and horse riding, to name just a few. Stroll through our old harbour with its small fishermen’s houses, beautiful former warehouses, cosy cafés, the artists’ house, the old town hall, and Hooksiel’s landmark, the onion dome. This special atmosphere will enrich your stay.



Please note: Fewo Wittesand is located in a typical holiday home complex where the houses are close together. The terrace—partly sheltered by the balcony above—and the communal garden offer pleasant outdoor spaces, but privacy is limited due to the layout.

Große Feriensiedlung, es stehen alle Häuser eng zusammen.

Pros: Die Nähe zum Wasser und das alles gut mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar war. Cons: Das man so eng beieinander war und die Terrasse dadurch nicht so nutzen konnte.

Es waren schöne erholsame Tage!

Pros: Die helle hübsche Einrichtung und die ruhige Lage des Hauses hat uns gut gefallen. Die Gespräche mit der Vermieterin waren sehr freundlich. Cons: Im Bad war es etwas eng.Und in der Dusche wäre ggf.ein Haltegriff an der Wand ganz hilfreich.
