Beautiful, spacious house in ideal location. Steps from a lovely nature park and salmon spawning stream, short drives to some great swimming beaches and 5 mins to "downtown" Comox which was delightful to walk around.Anne the host was ready to answer questions and made us feel so welcome.
As we walked into the home, we were welcomed with a beautiful garden followed by a cabin dream. From the big spacious entertaining areas, to the roomy bedrooms, great bathrooms and a view from the rooftop patio, it made our stay feel like a place we could call home for a bit.

This family left my house in excellent form.
You wouldn’t have known (with the exception of stripped beds) that anyone had been in the house for a day let alone a week.
There wasn’t thing out of place. Very considerate and respectful people.
We really enjoyed our multi-generation family vacation at Midden Manor. The house is beautiful and its location so close to the beach was perfect for multiple outings to Goose Spit Park. The property was exactly what we expected and this is definitely a place we would like to come back to again in the future!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The place was beautiful, both inside and out. There was lots of space to relax and hang out, visit, play games or read a book. The kitchen was very well stocked and we had everything we needed. The location was great - a very short walk to trails and the ocean and close to downtown Comox. Kyle Bay beach is a short drive away and was great, particularly at low tide. Anne was a great host - she was very friendly and made every effort to ensure we had a great holiday! We hope to have the opportunity to come back again soon!
Lovely home, garden and neighborhood. Well equipped home with good wifi and television kept our entire family happy. Lovely just hanging out in the three living areas or on the deck and garden. Many recreational activities in close reach for day adventures such as river float down the Puntledge, mountain biking and hiking in the Cumberland and Mt Washington. For more adventurous there are a few good cliff jump opportunities. Lots of good choices for microbreweries and restaurants.
Our family had a great time, very comfortable home, great neighbourhood, very quiet and lots of toys for the kids, both inside and out. Great proximity to go to Goose Spit for swimming along with Kye Beach. Everything we needed was there.
Charming house in a great location. Stayed with our 4 kids, 3 teens and a 9 year old, more than large enough for us all and our dog. Cozy and quiet home, fully stocked with anything you’re need. Location couldn’t have been better, 5 minute walk to the beach and walking/ hiking trails, close to town and other larger beaches. Would definitely stay again, thoroughly enjoyed our visit, thank you Anne!

Lovely home, conveniently located - relaxing vacation
Our family of 5 had a lovely stay at Anne's home. The photos don't do justice to the warmth of the spaces. The decor is an interesting confluence of local and native artists with formal high-back chairs set to welcome conversation. There is a great card table for games or puzzles, couches for snoozes or reading, and the bedrooms (all upstairs) were equally well adorned for enjoyment. We enjoyed looking out on the beautifully landscaped yard and sitting on the deck listening to the eagles, robins and other birds. Our dogs especially loved outings to Goose Spit and Kye Bay. We look forward to our return to this lovely home!
Midden Manor was a superb vacation house for our family of six adults and one child. The greenery is lush, the garden is gorgeous, and the large deck, shaded by an apple tree, is an excellent spot to grill a feast and gather your friends and family. The inside of the house is just as inviting, with beautifully decorated and appointed spaces in which to relax and entertain, each room on the main floor flowing seamlessly into the others. And, something I’ve never seen in a VRBO property, one of those spaces is perfect for kids, with child-size tables and chairs, bookcases and toy baskets, crayons, paints, puzzles and games. Not to mention all the playground amenities on the lawn! If my three-year-old grand-daughter could write reviews, she’d say 10 out of 10, for sure! The bedrooms upstairs are roomy and comfortable, with lovely views of the Comox Bay, and the two large bathrooms can only be described as deluxe. Best of all, Anne is an exceptional host, who goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need. We thank her sincerely for sharing her beautiful home, and look forward to enjoying a future vacation at Midden Manor.
Anne made the entire process extremely easy. Her house was exactly what she said it would be. It’s beautifully decorated and has a gorgeous view of the water from the upstairs porch. The yard is landscaped and has a great sitting area. The downstairs deck is huge and inviting. We grilled out many nights and enjoyed the entire place!
The beds are comfortable, the linens are great and plentiful. The bookshelves are packed with wonderful reads.
We loved all the windows and different sitting areas. We also took advantage of the fun walk from the backyard to Goose Spit park. Passing the alpacas and beautiful flower place was a bonus!
Overall, it was a perfect week!
Amazing garden, super comfortable homely house. Extremely well stocked kitchen. Communicating with Anne was easy and quick. Any problems we had were dealt with extremely quickly. We will definitely be back!

perfect!
Family wedding event hosted all the gang and more in this lovely roomy 3 bedroom home, I say home because it is. Comfortable, welcoming, well equipped and just right for our family. Lovely large deck with BBQ for outdoor cooking, eating and having fun. Close to couple of beaches, Comox style and a forested walking trail. Close to Comox with all amenities but far enough away on a dead end street to forget others are around. Ann owner was around to provide direction for the areas events and fulfill our needs, a support host. Two bathrooms but missing a second full bath but 6 + of us with guests managed just fine, family right!

Lovely, spacious and comfortable home
We spent 9 days at this wonderful house and had everything we needed. It's private, quiet, close to everything, and right by the beach! The fenced yard was perfect for our toddler and 2 dogs. Anne was very prompt with all responses to questions before we arrived and came to meet us personally at the end of our stay. We will definitely come here again. Thanks! A+++++

Excellent Location in a lovely comfortable home.
Anne was very helpfull and friendly. We were a family of 4 adults and 1 dog. Part of the garden is tastefully fenced which gave us peace of mind for our dogs safety. Beautiful garden with barbecue/ decking/sitting area on ground floor. Further out door seating upstairs on a veranda with a view. Parking space and easy walking distance to local shops. It is very near Goose Spit which is a special place. Comox Valley is a great base for visiting biking parks, beaches, forests and other near by holiday destinations. I would recommend this property and owner to other people.

Great family getaway.
My family really enjoyed the location, as it is on a quiet street, close enough to shops (Downtown Comox and Courtney), light trails, and the ocean. The house has different spaces where one is able to relax and enjoy some down time for themselves without being disturbed. The kitchen space was amazing, we were able to have family dinners as the kitchen was equipped with everything we required, and more than enough seating for everyone to have their own space on the dining room table. The house is warm and inviting, and the garden was a gorgeous view from within the house or on the patio deck.

An inviting home with character and warmth. The location is as advertised. We will return. Loved it!
We spent a week at Midden Manor and leave wishing the vacation never ended. The house is on a quiet lane that allows all the stress of everyday life to disappear. The beautiful local beaches are nearby and kayaking was a thrill with seals following along. After a day enjoying the outdoors, we relaxed dining on the deck in the evenings. A true gem for a family get-away.

MAGICAL HOLIDAY
Anne's home is stunning and Anne welcomed our family as though we were her family! Her home is artistically decorated with artwork and comfortable furniture with several seating areas that we enjoyed using for our family holiday reunion. We spent our Christmas in her home which she had decorated beautifully for our 14 year old daughter . . . a real tree! The beds were comfy and the views gorgeous. A wood-stove was lit for our arrival which we continued to use during our stay. Close to everything Comox has to offer and with a gourmet kitchen . . . it couldn't have been more perfect!
