Great place to stay at Orange Beach! The house was beautiful and perfectly located in the gorgeous Village Tannin for easy beach and pool access. Lee was the consummate host, providing excellent communication and going above and beyond in thinking up fun things for our family's stay. Would love to be able to stay here again sometime!

Hey Greg! Glad you enjoyed Birdie’s Nest! The two story open concept layout seems to work great for families and guests. I agree the summer heat can be brutal. The walk isn’t as bad during fall winter and spring. I’m going to start including golf cart rental information for future guests incase they’d like to rent. Thanks for the feedback!

Perfect location. Close enough to all things but super quiet quaint neighborhood. Steps to the pool and just short walk to beach with easy access. House had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay again. Property owner was great to work with and very helpful.

Great family beach house

Our family stayed here for a week and loved our first visit to Orange Beach! The owner was super communicative and the community felt safe and easy trip up to the beach. Golf cart rental is a must though. Adorable decor and comfy beds. My Overall loved our stay and would definitely visit Orange Beach again

Beautiful property

The house was perfect for our family. Beach was very close to the house. Walking distance to the pool Owners were very helpful with questions we may have had with areas in Orange Beach. Would stay here again

Family beach time

We attended a family wedding celebration at Gulf Shores state park. Everyone else stayed at the Lodge at the State Park but we prefer a house. This house was perfect for us. It is only a couple of miles from the State Park and a short walk to the beach.

Great Stay

The house was very clean and well put together. The location is ideal as it is a short distance from everywhere. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The owners are very responsive and accommodating. We will most definitely be back.

Great Vacation!

We loved staying in this cute house! The neighborhood is quaint, the pool is nice, and house was perfect. We rented a golf cart to easily go to and from the beach and that worked out great. The house itself is fully stocked with whatever you should need. There was plenty of room for us and kids plus a friend. Would definitely book Birdie's Nest again!

Beautiful Property

The home was as described and was extremely clean and orderly! Owners were very responsive. The beach equipment and wagons made beach access easy and fun! My grandson said this was his favorite trip to Gulf Shores ever! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with our family!

Everything was great!

We rented this cute spot for 3 nights. Everything was great, it served our needs and had plenty of space to spread out for our family of four. The pool was a very short walk and it was large in size. Few people were there which made it even better. Beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. Should we decide to return to Orange Beach we would certainly book again.

Our Stay in the City of Tannin

The property was really nice and was everything we were looking for. When we arived we had some issues with the place not being clean, but Lee was very helpful in getting that taken care of. Other then the house not being cleaned everything else was great. We would definitely recommend it to a friend and we would come back forsure.

Alec, Thank you for the review. In regards to the house not being clean let me add some clarity. I had personally stayed the night before and checked out a day earlier than expected so that we could offer the house to you for an extra day at the beach free. While I was there I dusted around the fans, changed the air filters and did some other work. Apparently the cleaning company missed some of the dust bunnies that had fallen from the work I had done. So we had them go back and reclean the house again immediately. We apologize for this inconvenience but hope the extra free day at the beach was worth the trouble. Thanks, Austin and Lee

Quiet, safe neighborhood. Short walk to pool. Not directly on beach but within reasonable walk.

We all enjoyed our stay. Cottage was clean. Nicely decorated. Comfortable living space. Slept great downstairs in king bed. Family upstairs thought mattresses were in poor shape. No kitchen garbage bags.

Hey Anne! So glad you loved the home and neighborhood. I used to leave boxes of trash bags / laundry detergent etc. Unfortunately, guests would end up taking the entire box and next renters would be left without. We stay booked up pretty regularly through the spring summer and fall so I can’t check in between every renter as I’m 5 hours away. My cleaner provides everyone with a starter pack of items including trash bag but now I just include in the welcome email for families to bring an extra few of their own. I hate I’m not able to provide those time household items but they end up just walking away.

Very Nice

We loved the house, but thought from the photos that it was closer to the beach. I wouldThe only other comment, the mattress in the master needs to be replaced, extremely soft.
