On the ground floor of the residence "Le Soleil Blanc", with south-facing terrace, the apartment is located in the heart of the pretty authentic village of Montriond (with shops, 150 metres), in the immediate vicinity of Morzine (1.5km, 3 minutes by car or free shuttle), so the sports park, the swimming pool, and the ice rink, etc. (In summer, easy walk in 25 minutes, either by the footbridge or by the pretty wooded path at the bottom of the valley).

1 private parking space is reserved 5 metres from the apartment, accessible from the terrace.


Winter:

The apartment is located in the heart of the huge Portes du Soleil ski area (650 km of slopes, combined with Switzerland)

In winter, you also have the possibility to take the free shuttles that stop near the chalet every 20/25 minutes, and take you in a few minutes to all points of the Morzine-Avoriaz-Les Gets area: you are in the centre of the area! From 8:30 am you can reach the MORZINE centre in a few minutes to take the little ones to the Outa daycare centre (from 3 months to 5 years old inclusive), and the older ones to the Piou-Piou club: welcome children from 3 to 14 years old, before and after classes (all levels), with diversified outdoor activities.





In summer, there are many hikes and mountain activities:

- Magnificent hikes, of all levels, by the thousands!

- access to Lake Montriond in 2 minutes by car (or 1/4 hour on foot): free beach (supervised swimming), tour of the lake, canoeing, ponies, fishing, etc...

- To do / see by car (1/4 hour to 1/2 hour approximately) in summer and autumn: Lake Montriond, 'Les Lindarets' ('village of goats'), Avoriaz, Les Gets, Les Gorges du Pont du diable, Lake Geneva (Thonon, Yvoire, Evian, the fine sandy beach of Excenevex,...),...

- in 1 hour 1/4 by car, you are in Annecy, or in Chamonix, or in Geneva, and in Switzerland: Martigny, Montreux, Lausanne, etc.

You can also get to the centre of Morzine on foot, by road or by the path that winds among the fir trees along the Dranse; it's very nice, summer and winter, in 30 minutes.
