About this property

Destin Beach Vacation Townhouse -- Freshly updated with great beach -- new on the market -- pet friendly

Southbay54 is a townhouse (no elevators to hassle with) that has spectacular views and is close to all major attractions in Destin. The private beach is a quick walk and offers plenty of room to spread out for your entire family. You can walk to awesome restaurants or cook in our updated kitchen and dine on our water-view upper deck.

We are family-friendly with lots of beach stuff and 2 kiddie pools; the big flat screen LED TV has connections for your video games and a Blu-ray/DVD player. We have strong Wi-Fi! We are pet friendly and offer great facilities to exercise your dog.

Our beach is pristine and the Gulf waters are clear and warm; the sand slopes gently which makes it safe and more fun for kids (with your supervision, of course.) There is a beach bar that serves lunch and refreshments a five minute walk down the beach.

You’ll have access to all the amenities in our townhouse, including Wi-Fi, HiDef cable TV, outdoor dining.. The beautifully landscaped property has tennis courts, marked for pickle ball. Also shuffle board. Two sets of swimming pools (one kiddie pool at each location) including a seasonally heated pool.

Please watch our video tour by going to YouTube and entering “southbay54” (no spaces) in the search box. This video will give you an idea of the property but couches have been changed and bedding.

The two bedrooms each have an attached bathroom and a flat screen Roku TV. One bedroom has a king-size bed and a spacious private balcony overlooking our 5 acre lake. (You can fish from the balcony.) The second bedroom has pillow top bunk beds and Queen Bed. Both bedrooms have lots of closet space and bureaus for your convenience.

The upstairs floor is the Entertainment Level with a spacious Great Room (for dining, lounging and watching TV) plus the newly updated kitchen and a half bath. There is also a large deck for Fishing, dining and watching spectacular sunsets.

Our goal is to make sure your vacation at Southbay54 is peaceful, worry-free and full of memories that will last a lifetime.

Perfect for family

This was a perfect place for my kids and family. Short walk to the a quiet beautiful beach. Close to all the restaurants. This was our puppies first outing and he enjoyed it.

Great place to stay

We love staying here, short walk to the beautiful beach and love the balcony overlooking the lake. I'd live here if I could. This is the second time we've stayed here and we will definitely be back. Lynda is great, if you have questions or problems she is quick to respond.

We chose this town home because of it's location and amenities -- 400 yards from the white sand beaches, 10 minute walk to a fun beach bar and short walking distance to awesome restaurants -- tennis courts and heated pools -- great sunsets to finish active days !!!

What makes this property unique

We love NOT being in a high rise, and NOT having to wait for elevators !!! You can enjoy the upper deck at sunset, fishing off the waterfront balconies, relaxing on the private lower deck and being able to walk everywhere.
