We loved our stay here. It was in a great location and very comfortable for our group of 6. Air conditioning didn’t work great but there were plenty of fans to keep us comfortable. Would definitely recommend this apartment. Near a lot of restaurants but quiet and peaceful.
Absolutely fantastic location! One block off piazza navona, up one set of stairs ( the stone curved steps)- honestly not an issue for anyone in our party. Only thing I’d clarify is the bedroom situation. One stand alone bedroom with 2 twins, one stand alone with a king, third bedroom has a double plus 2 twins in the walkway thru to an en-suite ( with the big tub). Worked fine for us but be aware that one of the bathrooms is en-suite. Would def recommend and stay again!
House was accurate to pictures and an excellent location. The host was super responsive. We enjoyed our stay. Make sure you enjoy a meal at Taverna Agape and visit the farmers market, both a short walk away.
A beautiful apartment in an ideal location. Really well-equipped and very comfortable beds. Gorgeous living room and an amazing large bathroom with a jacuzzi bath, perfect after a day of sightseeing. Some useful additions would be helpful, such a wardrobe and full-length mirror in the main bedroom. The shower heads in both bathrooms could do with replacing as could the shower mat, which makes the shower more slippery to use than without. Take note that, not only are there winding steps up to the apartment (difficult for heavy suitcases), but there are a couple of steps at the entrance of many of the rooms so may be difficult for those with mobility issues. There are countless cafes and restaurants on the doorstep but avoid using the pharmacy in Piazza di Pasquino, one of the closest to the apartment, as they charge exorbitant prices, e.g. basic men's shower gel cost about 15! There is a handy little corner shop about two doors from the apartment, probably more expensive than supermarkets but convenient for basics. A wonderful week in Rome, would definitely return to this beautiful apartment!
Wonderful. Everything was in walking distance and very easy to access. Host was very helpful and always available if needed great guy great place will stay again.
Stefano was a wonderful host. We did have a bit of a problem with the keys working, but nothing we couldn’t handle. We had 5 people & there was plenty of space. The only negative I have to say is the 2nd bathroom only had a huge tub with a hand sprayer, so we all showered in the other bathroom. Otherwise, great apartment.
Great location. Very secure with two locked gates outside to access the inner apartment. It was a close walk to tons of dinner options and shops. We walked everywhere from the apartment (colosseum, Pantheon, Vatican, etc) and only took a taxi when headed to the airport. The apartment is historic and nicely renovated. The ceilings are very low because of the age of the apartment, so my 6ft4inch husband hit his head on the ceiling beams a number of times. That was our only “negative” but we would still stay again. There is also a great running/walking path by the river not far from the apartment.
Fantastic location. We loved our stay. The hosts were accommodating and welcoming, and the apartment was clean with plenty of space to relax. It is right in the heart of historic Rome. Great restaurants, iconic sights, and so much history are just steps from the front door. The wifi did not work great in the bedrooms, but you are in Rome, go outside. If you want to be in the middle of it all, this is the place to stay.
You cannot ask for a better location in all of Rome! We walked everywhere- Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trasterve. The beds were so comfortable which was an added bonus at the end of a long day! Stefano was very easy to communicate with! We will certainly be back!
We traveled from the US with our family of four. The apartment was in the PERFECT LOCATION, really can’t be beat! Beautiful and clean -don’t hesitate to book this if you want to be in the center of everything. Comfortable beds and pillows even. Stefano was an amazing host.
Great communication with the property owners. The kitchen was small, but serviceable. Rooms were comfy and warm. We had a slight issue with the shower, but it was fixed immediately and without any sort of trouble. I would definitely recommend this place.
This apartment is excellent. The beds are comfortable, good shower, 2 good bathrooms (one has a shower, the other a large Jacuzzi tub). The location is amazing. You're 100 feet, 30 meters, from Piazza Navona, but still on a quiet street. Everything you need is close by. Markets, great restaurants, great cafes for breakfast or afternoon drinks. You can walk to most of the main sights. We loved this place and will book it again when we come back. Stefano was great. Communicated regularly and was very helpful.
We had an enjoyable stay in Rome at apartamento storico. We are a family of 6 - 3 generations. The apartment fit our needs nicely. It is quiet, well equipped, and the location is fantastic. The apartment is one floor up from ground level. The only access is a stone spiral staircase that is a bit challenging with luggage. Our grand daughters loved it, nonetheless. They pictured it as climbing a castle tower.
Communication was excellent. The home was clean and as advertised. We loved the location and the historic feel of the home, street, and neighborhood. Thank you for a great place from which to explore Rome!
The flat was lovely. Really big and very cool. Great location. Gianmarco was lovely when he showed us around too. Beautiful courtyard. Easy walk to piazza navona/pantheon/trevi. Lovely.
