Sehr schön, aber ein wenig abgelegen

Das Haus war in perfektem Zustand und sehr sauber. Die Aussicht auf den Genfersee ist grossartig, und falls dabei die nahen Hochspannungsleitungen stören, reichen ein paar Schritte vom Haus weg, um das Panorama völlig uneingeschränkt zu geniessen. Wenn man ohne Auto unterwegs ist, muss man die Ausflüge jedoch gut planen, denn die Zahnradbahn (die beinahe vor der Haustür hält) fährt nur einmal stündlich in jede Richtung. Mit etwas grösserem Gepäck wird die Benützung dieses Bähnchens zudem etwas schwierig - für die Rückfahrt haben wir uns deshalb für ein Taxi zum Bahnhof Montreux entschieden. Und schliesslich noch ein kleiner praktischer Hinweis: die Küche ist zwar sehr gut eingerichtet, inklusive Glaskeramikherd und Dampfbackofen (Steamer), jedoch ist keine Mikrowelle vorhanden. Natürlich kann man auch ohne diese gut kochen, aber man sollte sich zum Vornherein darauf einstellen.
