The nearest shopping centres are e.g. at the market by the beach, EKZ Gägelow (2km) or Hinter Wendorf (2km). There is a good and well-priced restaurant a few minutes away. Places of interest or other activities include the Zierow beach area with minigolf, wellness, cafes, surfing, sailing, swimming, a riding farm with riding school, bicycle rental, tourist information, or the Wismar area with harbour tours, the harbour with many restaurants, the Wonnemar leisure pool with a wellness area (5km)m museums, churches and cafes, or else the island Poel 15 (km), Boltenhagen (17 km), Lübeck (60km), Rostock-Warnemünde (60 km), Rerik/ Kühlungsborn (ca. 35 km), the regional capital Schwerin (45 km).
