The holiday home Villa Daphne is located in the centre of the mountain village of Kazaviti, which is recognised as traditional. It was rebuilt on the foundations of an old house in 1995, with the architect following the local architectural style. The special location on the hillside helped him to emphasise the enchanting views of the mountains and the sea.
From the courtyard terrace and the two large balconies, the much admired sunsets can be enjoyed every evening. They lend the entire area of the house a magical, enchanted aura.
As the village has few permanent residents and no businesses, there is peace and quiet throughout the day and a feeling of seclusion from the hustle and bustle of tourism on the beaches.
The well-furnished courtyard is walled on two sides of the property and paved with natural stone. At the front, it is covered by the large balconies on the ground floor and additionally shaded by awnings.
This intimate outdoor area is completely secluded so that guests can spend time there undisturbed.
On the ground floor is the living room with a natural stone fireplace, which gives the room its style. The open-plan fitted kitchen, which is separated from the living area by a long work counter as a room divider, blends into the picture despite all the modern technology.
Next to the kitchen, concealed by the fireplace, is a shower room with glass doors, WC, wash hand basin with mirror and separate washing machine.
A wooden staircase leads via a small hallway into a large bedroom with a comfortable double bed, a small seating area and ample wooden wardrobes.
Also from the hallway, you enter a smaller room with a pull-out sofa bed, which is large enough for two people.
Both rooms have their own access to a covered balcony with an unrestricted view of the panorama described above.
The hallway also leads to a very attractively designed bathroom with a bathtub, WC, large undermounted washbasin and a wall cupboard set into the wall.
The small terrace garden on the descent to Villa Symeon belongs to Villa Daphne and can be used by its guests.
The area surrounding the villa is characterised by the infrastructure of the old settlement, which flourished in the 18th century. After the Second World War, all the inhabitants moved to the lower lying plain of the valley and founded three new settlements with a ferry harbour.
The extensive beaches of Prinos are 6 km to 9 km from Kazaviti.
The island of Thassos can be reached by car ferry from the town of Kavala opposite on the mainland or from Keramoti harbour near the airport.
Villa Daphne is the perfect place to enjoy the overwhelming nature in a beautiful ambience and to find peace and relaxation.
