This is how all rental places should be! Check in is easy, the location is great and the host is very friendly! Great view of the lake below. There were all the amenities you could need during your stay. I would recommend renting a car if you stay here, the bus stop was a bit difficult to walk to with luggage.
What a cute little hidden gem! We loved every single thing about this little place. Sleeping with the windows open, hearing the school children’s chatter as they ran to the bus, the extremely welcoming host (who speaks German but does very well with Google translate), the breathtaking lake views, and all the amenities. Make sure you bring shampoo/conditioner/ bath soap and have $50 CHF for the cleaning fee when you check out.
The property manager was very helpful, even with two English speakers who only knew a bit of German. She was communicative by e-mail and very friendly. The place was clean, and the views on the patio were incredible. The studio is accessible by a nearby bus stop, but the bus does not run all times of the day, so this was sometimes inconvenient as the location is atop a big hill from Sarnen. There was no shampoo or soap given in the bathroom so be sure to bring your own. Wifi was free and snacks were included as well. Overall amazing stay!
