This private home is located in the charming Del Mar Beach Colony area. Steps to the white sand beaches, with staffed lifeguard towers and well kept restroom facilities.

Situated on a quiet cul-de-sac with friendly neighbors this beautiful, private home is perfect for families or small groups. U-VERSE TV & WIFI, Apple TV, and wireless indoor/outdoor surround sound stereo -all included! Our home also has AIR CONDITIONING which is a nice luxury in Del Mar.
The fenced in backyard is truly the place to entertain - a hot tub to soak and relax in, a built in BBQ and outdoor fridge, wireless sound system to listen to all your favorite music as you dine outside and plenty of room for kids to play and for you to entertain without feeling cramped. It is an easy walk to the beach, or down the street to the unique shops and restaurants in Del Mar. Great surf beaks within walking distance!
The home has 3 bedrooms -
Master has a king bed with tempurpedic mattress, Guest Room has a queen bed with new pillowtop mattress, Kids Bunk room has 4 new twin pillowtop mattresses, and the Family Room has a Sectional with a SLEEPER SOFA which makes into a full size bed.

We keep it fully stocked with everything you could need for a day at the beach (towels, boogie boards, cooler, lounge chairs, buckets and toys) as well as a super cool cart to transport it all hassle free. After your fun day at the beach, shower off the sand in the outdoor shower and put your surf board in our rack!

Just like our home, Del Mar has something for everyone. Famous for its beaches, fairgrounds and the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club 'Where the turf meets the surf', there are many other reasons that make Del Mar so special. Torrey Pines State Park is 5 miles down the road and is a beautiful place to hike all year. Its centrally located to many of San Diego's favorite 'must sees' -Scripps Aquarium, Legoland, Sea World & SD Zoo are all short drives (20-30 min) and Disneyland is a 2hr drive. Great surf, sunshine, picturesque coastline, white sand beaches, tennis, fine dining, horse racing, and world class golf -Del Mar will keep all your friends/family fully entertained.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Lower hot tub back to 80 degrees and put cover back on
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The entire experience renting and staying at this great house was a pleasure! Our host was amazing, and communicated with me to ensure we were totally satisfied. The house was great! Good beach proximity

This home is cozy and a bit older but it is a very low traffic street and very close to the best beach entrance! We had a great time over Christmas and the host is very responsive and accessible if needed.

We had a wonderful stay! Great home with every amenity we needed for young kids, including a pack n play. Great location, just a couple blocks from the beach in one of the best Del Mar neighborhoods, and house has an outdoor shower to rinse off sand. Owner was very friendly, helpful, and quick to communicate. Home is one house away from the train track, though surprisingly quiet and quick (trains pass by in a couple seconds), this was not at all a noise issue for us, even with young kids. We had a great stay and plan to rent this home again when we’re back in town.

Beach House in Del Mar

My family and a few friends had a wonderful stay at the Beach House. It is in a great location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and bars. Some excellent amenities include a hot tub, BBQ, outdoor dining table, outdoor shower, and a garage full of beach toys. The owner was very attentive to our needs.

Updated home less than 2 blocks from the beach. We had a great time with 2 families. Hot tub was great after beach days. Kitchen has everything you need. 80s arcade games were a blast for all. Would return again if in Del Mar in the future!

Perfect for girls weekend

Seven of us ladies stayed at Stephanie's house and it worked out great. The location is excellent and very close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. It has great gathering areas in the backyard and in the living room. It's nice that it's on a dead-end street as it made things very quiet. Stephanie was extremely accommodating and responsive. Great experience.

Perfect beach retreat

Our family traveled from all over the country to enjoy a reunion at eve beach. This was the best place for that to happen! The garage provided all the toys for the beach and a wagon to carry everything! The house was clean and had plenty of toys for the kids. The adults enjoyed arcade games and the hot tub. Definitely recommend this place.

Perfect beach house location

Awesome beach house with easy access to family friendly sandy Del Mar beach, perfect for summer family vacation. Lots of tech in house along with an abundance of beach equipment and very handy cart to haul all of the gear back and forth. Plenty of towels along with a lovely spacious backyard and Jacuzzi for late afternoon siestas. Close proximity to center of Del Mar and market.

We are so happy that you had a wonderful time, and enjoyed all the fun amenities that the house has to offer. My husband is all about the technology so it made him especially happy to know that others are appreciating it too! He says its not a good time until you can listen to your own tunes throughout a house! Location was a huge reason for our purchasing the house- to be able to walk with my kids to the track, beach, restaurant and shops was essential to us too and I'm glad that you loved the location for those reasons too. We had a great week with our family in Del Mar and can’t wait to come back! The house was perfect for our family - so close to the beach, great kitchen, family room for our kids, lovely back yard and everyone loved the hot tub. The house had all of the amenities we needed and we loved all the beach supplies (the chairs, our kids used the boogie board and wet suit, sand toys and more). We will be back!

Great Del Mar House Near the Beach

Wonderful stay and very responsive owner. The house is a short walk to the beach, less than 5 minutes. All amenities in the house, including a fully stocked kitchen. The house has large bedrooms and plenty of linens and extra towels. On demand hot water heater. The hot tub and backyard area is excellent, including an outdoor TV that we enjoyed. Overall, the house is A+ and we will be back to visit again!

I grew up in a near by beach town and even though we moved away we found ourselves back here often. As our family grew and our children fell in love with coming to San Diego we made the decision to purchase a vacation home here. Del mar has always been one of my favorite places and beaches! My kids love the flat open beaches, and walking to the near by shops and restaurants, playing at the park and taking our dog to doggie beach. I hope you and your family will fall in love with it too!

Why they chose this property

I wanted this home to have the perfect mix of feeling like home but also on vacation. The location allows us to walk anywhere we need - nothing is more than 15 min (and thats with the kids)! For it to feel like our own home, and comfortable for those staying there, when furnishing/decorating it everything was of high quality. From the linens and towels, to stocking the kitchen and the furniture - it is all of nice quality to help provide comfort and luxury for those who are staying there.
Del Mar is perfectly situated, its 15-20 min to most of the big tourist attractions - Sea World, Zoo, Legoland, etc but is not highly populated so you are never having to search for a spot at the beach! The limited parking access to the public helps keep the Del Mar beaches open and spacious - so our house having a driveway that can fit 4 cars a big win for our friends and family:)

What makes this property unique

During the day I love opening the top part of the front door while I'm inside and letting my kids run around the front and play. Because we are on a cul de sac it is a nice quiet and private street with little pedestrian flow but quick beach access. Less than 2 minutes from door to sand.
At night, sitting in the hot tub with a glass of wine after the kids have gone to sleep is as relaxing as it gets!
