Beautiful, quiet, wooded property with a pleasant walk to beach

We enjoyed our rental of this very nice house in Arcachon in June. The house is beautiful, both on the inside and outside. The landscaping was lovely, with many flowering plants and mature trees on the very large lot. The outdoor space was exceptionally private, with no other homes in view to either side or behind the property. Our group of four adults and three young children was very comfortable. We utilized the outdoor space each day, including the swing set, swimming pool, very large outdoor dining table, grill, and comfortable casual seating. The house was in very good condition and exceeded our expectations. We were impressed with how well equipped and functional the kitchen was, including glassware and table settings for entertaining large groups. Likewise the house is furnished well and thoughtfully. Our interactions with the owner and the local caretaker were very pleasant and efficient.

Wonderful holiday

A wonderful holiday in Jean-Francois and Pascale’s lovely home. Lots of space for two families and an amazingly well equipped house. Short walk to the beach, and a great beach bar, but set in a very quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. Thank you very much for sharing your home with us - we hope to come back!

Une maison familiale trĂšs cosy et confortable ! TrĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e, il ne manque rien. Nous y avons fĂȘtĂ© NoĂ«l : balades sur la plage, apĂ©ro au coin du feu et grillade dans la cheminĂ©e extĂ©rieure ! La literie est trĂšs bonne aussi. Be wary of additional charges!

Be wary of multiple additional charges that are not included in any of the pricing listed on the website. You will have to pay asked for a cash bond and for further faculties outside of the booking process. Do not pay for "parking" - you will be subject to website transaction costs. The property was lovely and perfect for our family stay of six adults, one infant and a dog. All the facilities were in order with a well stocked kitchen. Great location, would definitely recommend. Level of communication could be improved - check-in was not ideal, with a number of changes to details of people last minute.

Belle propriĂ©tĂ© avec belle maison bien Ă©quipĂ©e, oĂč nous avons passĂ© un agrĂ©able sĂ©jour.

La maison est bien situĂ©e, proche de la mer, pas trĂšs loin du centre ville (10 Ă  15 minutes Ă  pied) et au calme dans une impasse. Les chambres sont spacieuses, les lits trĂšs bons et les salles d'eau dans les chambres trĂšs apprĂ©ciables. La cuisine est trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e en vaisselle et electro-mĂ©nager. C'est une maison "qui vit", avec des jeux, des livres, des revues... pas amĂ©nagĂ©e uniquement pour touristes d'une semaine. Nous avons aussi apprĂ©ciĂ© la propretĂ© des lieux, intĂ©rieur comme extĂ©rieur. Seul petit bĂ©mol, la piscine qui n'a pas pu ĂȘtre chauffĂ©e et la grande quantitĂ© d'arbres qui ne laisse pas beaucoup de place au soleil au mois de mai.

Tout y est ... Le calme, l'espace, le jardin, le barbecue, une cuisine trÚs bien équipée, la piscine (dommage elle n'était pas chauffé), la plage, les promenades; enfin tout pour bien s'y sentir et partager de bons moments. Un trÚs bon séjour.
