To fully appreciate the beauty of nature along the Dordogne, it is best to use our boats and enjoy the rare perspective from the water, i. e. we will take you to the entry point of your choice together with the boats, life jackets and waterproof barrels and pick you up again at your destination when you call us. 2 single kayaks and a family canoe (3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children) are at your disposal.

Excursions : The natural paradise of the Dordogne, hardly changed by man, has preserved its natural charm. Everything is embedded in idyllically beautiful landscapes with picturesque gardens, fascinating châteaux, defiant castles and charming wine villages. If you follow the romantic course of the river to the west, you will come across one of the most beautiful cities, Bordeaux, which has been honoured with many superlatives. And to the west of Bordeaux is the Côte d'Argent, France's "silver coast" with the longest sandy beaches and the highest dunes in Europe. Emilion and Cognac, and to the south there are such famous destinations as Eymet, La Réole, St-Macaire, Cadillac and of course the unique, wild Pyrenees. Fascination PérigordNear Gensac to the east is where the purple Périgord, the Bergeracois, begins. Traditionally, a distinction is made between the White Périgord (around Perigueux and the Isle Valley), the Green Périgord (Riberac, Nonton, Jumilhac) and the Black Périgord (east, Sarlat). The Black Périgord is the region with the most important tourist destinations and is easily accessible from us; a trip to this hinterland is like a journey into history. The collection of prehistoric caves, grottoes, stalactite caves and rock dwellings is unique, the most famous of which is Lascaux with the oldest cave paintings. The many castles and châteaux along the Dordogne, such as Fénelon, Montfort, Marqueyssac, La Malartrie, Castelnaud and of course Beynac, are also impressive, and the unique gardens and historic towns such as Beynac, Domme, Sarlat and Perigueux invite you to dream and stroll. These are fortified places such as Ste Foy la Grande, built in the Middle Ages during the almost permanent conflicts between England and France, or how about a walk along the churches and monasteries of the Way of St James, where you can enjoy the various picturesque landscapes to the full throughout your holiday. Later, back at home, close your eyes and you will hear the language of the south, smell its flavours, hear the murmur of the Dordogne and see the landscapes pass by, over a glass of Bordeaux, of course.
