Nearby atmospheric La Spezia has a seaside promenade, marina, and numerous shops and restaurants. Cerreto Laghi ski resort (45 km) offers mountain walks during summer and, of course, skiing in winter.

In the large enclosed grass garden (2000 m2) is a private saltwater pool (17 x 5 m depth 1.5 m) with underwater night lighting.
