A paradise house in Naxos

Our property has a special license from the Greek Tourism Organization (ΜΗΤΕ # 1174k92000985701)

Ten years ago we built our dream house near the little church of Agios Prokopios in Naxos. The house is built in typical cycladian architecture, with all modern facilities. Sofas and beds are wall built and equiped with comfortable mattresses. Extra attention was put in the outdoors environment, to respect the particular flora of Cyclades. The sea view from the balconies is spectacular. We have wonderful memories escaping from Athens with our child and friends there, near one of the best beaches in Europe. Now we decided to share this experience with others. We welcome families with kids, we have wonderful memories raising our child there, and we expect that they will respect the effort we have put to maintain our property. Pets are also welcome, as long as they belong to a conscious owner.
Our property has a main house and a guest house. The main house is 150 sq meters and on the 1 st floor has a bedroom ( 1 double bed and private bathroom) and a wc, a living room , a kitchen and a dining area. In the 2nd floor there are 1 bedroom and a large a bathroom with bathtub and a shower. All rooms have verandas with beautiful sea view.
The quest house is next to the main and is 50 Sq meters. It's has a living room with a kitchen area, a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom

Absolutely fantastic!

Photos do not do justice to this amazing house! Its bright, beautiful, spacious contemporary and has amazing views from every room! The studio was perfect for my parents (it's a self contained flat within the house) with it's own entry. My husband and I, our 2 adult sons and 3 of their friends enjoyed the main house. (We were 9 adults in total) and it was perfect. We rented ATV vehicles for our stay but most evenings walked along the beach to the fabulous restaurants in the village. We would without hesitation stay there again. Wonderful!!

Excellent!!

We staied in Marinella's house from 23 to 30 August and it was simply fantastic!! The house is very well equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, linens, dishes, etc). The decor is very pleasant, welcoming and great attention to detail, the spaces are ample and satisfying (we were 6 adults and 6 children). Beautiful terrace for eating and garden with barbeque. Do not miss enything..just arrived we found everything ... .Water, oil, toilet paper, soap, towels, various foods .... and even the moka coffee maker and Nespresso !! In short, it was like being at home !! The location is great, near one of the most beautiful beaches of Naxos not too equipped and the village where we found excellent and not expensive restaurants. I suggest Taverna Perama where less than 15 € you eat plentiful and excellent grilled fish and Greek appetizers. At home there is no wifi but you can found it just going in the nearby hotel Mrs. Marinella and the assistant Betty are very welcoming and helpful ... .I highly recommend a stay in this house that still (after 10 days of return) we miss very much !! A hug to Betty who assisted with care and congratulations to Marinella for making us feel at ease

Agréable maison de famille

Agréable et très grande maison de famille. Fidèle aux photos et à la descriptions.Très belle vue des terrasses sur la mer. Nous étions 5 enfants et 4 adultes et nous n'avons même pas utilisés tout l'espace (notamment le petit appartement situé dans la propriété). Nous avions choisit de ne pas avoir de voiture et cela est un peu contraignant (principalement pour l'eau minérale) , mais pas dramatique. Il faut juste savoir que le village est situé à 15 minutes à pied par la place (le trajet par la route n'est pas très adapté pour les piétons). Autre point que nous n'avions pas imaginé sont la présence de beaucoup de moustiques (peut être lié à la présence des lacs - réserve naturelle située à proximité). Mieux vaut prévoir les bons produits pour se protéger car certaines des moustiquaires dans la maison ne suffiront pas. Nous avons passé un très beau séjour. Nous recommandons cette maison.

beautiful house very close to the beach

This is our second time staying at Marinella's house on Naxos. We love the house, it is quite big. This time we were two families of four with small children (from 3 to 7 years old). The house is very confortable (three bathrooms) and offers extra, for example a Nespresso machine. The shaded patio stays cool even when the sun is shinning. Everyone loved going to the beach which is only 5 minutes walking distance. We did not have a car but ordered a taxi whenever we felt like visiting the town, which is about 10 min by car. We would love to go back.

Magnifique!

Excellente surprise en découvrant cette superbe maison typique des Cyclades, qui est effectivement encore mieux en réalité que sur les photos! Nous avons passé d'excellents moments entre amis, et avec les enfants, dans ce lieu où l'on se sent comme à la maison! La terrasse est également très agréable. Merci beaucoup à la propriétaire qui est facilement joignable, et répond rapidement à toutes les demandes (et dans un français parfait!). Ne pas hésiter si vous séjournez à Naxos!!

La location est très grande et parfaitement adaptée à des enfants. Le cadre est magnifique avec la vue sur la mer. En cas de souci la propriétaire est très réactive. Je conseille vivement cette location.

lovely specious quiet place with a personal touch

Thanks for the wonderful stay. The house is great, spacious, good equiped and testefully and personal furnished. There are lots of terraces to sit, eat, chill and watch the sea. The garden is beautiful and has a huge BBQ-place. The garden house is a little bit smaler, but perfect for a group with a temporary need for privacy. The area is quiet - the noise sensitive grandma could sleep well. The beach is very close, less then 5 minutes walk and beautiful situated in a nice bay. The water is very clear. There is one restaurant at the end of the beach (Avali) , close by, which we liked very much. The owner is very friendly and was always available for any question. It is a perfect place for a familiy or group holiday with friends. It is a place we would definitly visit again!

Gorgeous property ideally located close to the beach

We have excellent momories from our holidays in this beautiful property. The house is spaceous, tastefully furnished, very well kept and fully-equipped. The famous, family-friendly Agios Proskopios beach is only a 4-5 minutes walk away. We very much enjoyed relaxed evenings on the terrace, next to the beautiful garden. The property was ideal for our group of eight (5 adults, 2 children, 1 infant): - There is plenty of space for everyone to relax and retreat. - The guest house offers completely separated bedroom and living room. - The large patio offers lots of shaded space to eat, relax and play. - The owners even provided a crib four our litte one. The owners and the manager on the island are very friendly and helpful. We much appreciated their restaurant and sight-seeing tips (our favorite was Meze-Meze Restaurant in Naxos town). They let us use their basic kitchen stocks (olive oil, spices, ...) and even provided some tasty local specialties. The location is great for holidays without a car: - 10-minute taxi ride from Naxos town cost 10 euros - The house is located a 4-5 minute walk from the beach. - Avali restaurant next to the beach offers good basic food on terrace with a beautiful view. - You'll find a small super market, bakery, car rental and many restaurants in Agios Proskopios village, 15 min by foot. We warmly recommend this beutiful property to anyone looking for relaxed holidays and hope to be back soon!

Bien mieux que sur les photos

Maison très spacieuse, très bien située, à vraiment 200 m de la plage. Très propre et bien équipée. Environnement très calme, même avec un hôtel situé derrière. 2 restaurants sur la plage et village animé à 15 mn à pied. Les photos ne sont pas très bien prises et la maison est beaucoup mieux en réalité. Grande terrasse en partie abritée du soleil. Maison très agréable en famille et entre amis. Une personne est là pour vous accueillir et vous aider durant votre séjour et la propriétaire est facile à joindre et parle parfaitement le français. Tout est fait pour se sentir comme chez soi. Aucune mauvaise surprise. A recommander vivement.

Grand confort, et très bien située

Une maison très confortable, très bien équipée, et bien située à proximité de la plage, mais dans une zone tranquille. Idéale pour des vacances familiales ou entre amis. La plage est très belle, même si très fréquentée. Et il y a aussi moyen de trouver des coins tranquilles sur les rochers ou sur une petite plage, moins belle, mais nettement moins fréquentée. La maison est à 5 minutes en voiture (et 20 minutes à pied par la plage) du village le plus proche, village balnéaire où l'on trouve tout. Et à 1/4 d'heure de Hora, la capitale de l'île.
