Tucker was a great host and communicated regularly to make sure that all was well. The house is in a great location to visit Highlands and running into town was so easy. The kitchen was well stocked as were the bed and bathrooms. Plenty of towels, soap, shampoo etc. Beds were comfy and clean and it was nice to have 4 bathrooms. We spent most of our time on the covered porch enjoying the gorgeous weather. It’s quiet and private and we played many card/mahjong games. I highly recommend renting this house for a relaxing vacation.

Chose this place for the deck and fireplace and it did not disappoint! Here for our son’s wedding and was a great place for family to gather before and after all of the festivities. We will definitely be back!!

Cozy retreat is a perfect description for this beautiful home. Everything about this home was perfect! Lots of room to spread out, comfortable bedrooms and well stocked kitchen. Very clean. Attention to detail was displayed throughout the home. The gem was the back porch with fireplace. We spent lots of time there playing games and enjoying the fire. Tucker was the perfect host. Will definitely be booking this home again!

The house was everything we were looking for with our girls weekend trip. The kitchen was fully stocked and the outdoor sitting area with fireplace was a dream! The linens in each bedroom were very comfortable and the Christmas tree was a great added touch that got us all in the mood for the upcoming holiday! We will definitely stay here again next year for our girls weekend!!

Rosebay Cottage was a very serene, clean, and beautiful place to stay! Tucked into the woods with a nice mountain view. Well appointed with everything you’d need. The back porch was our favorite place to gather and enjoy the fireplace! We hope to return sometime soon.

So glad you enjoyed Twig and Nest. As I mentioned on the website, this is the house that "Santa built." I have a lot to live up to. I am thankful you were not disappointed I couldn't put the tree up inside the house this year. When we cut it down, we didn't realize how fat it was. It would have taken up so much space in the Great Room I don't think you would have been as comfortable. Please consider a visit in the summer or fall as Highlands is especially beautiful and "cool" when it's hot everywhere else in the summer. Barbara Jones 1/3/18

The area became even more special to us when we brought our kids here and we dreamed of finding our own place.
