This is a nice apartment but my only search parameter/filter was to have a place with A/C, and the unit doesn’t work in this apartment. I don’t believe I would have booked a place that said no A/C but the management company stated that it is in the listing (which it is now at the very end when I looked after we arrived). There was a yellow warning for high temperature during our stay. We couldn’t tolerate the heat as the temperature in the ground floor rooms was 30.8 C and hotter upstairs where the bedrooms are. We left after the first day and were not able to get a refund for the other days as is this management company’s policies. Expedia/VRBO support was able to help us find a place to stay with A/C.

As noted in our listing, Villa Saronno does not have air conditioning in the rental areas. During your stay, we experienced a yellow heat advisory in northern Italy, with temperatures reaching 38°C. Once we learned about the situation, we arranged two fans and activated the air conditioning unit on the non-rental upper floor to help cool the living areas below. We were also ready to provide portable AC units, but unfortunately, you had already checked out before we could implement these solutions. We apologize for any discomfort this may have caused.
