Located right off the A19, this offers you the unique opportunity to stay in a piece of history, even though the original castle is unfortunately no longer standing.

The holiday apartment on the 1st floor is perfectly equipped for your self-catering holiday. An open-concept kitchen-living area with a fridge-freezer, coffee maker, stove, oven, and microwave invites you to cook together and relax. In the living area, a TV provides entertainment, and a sofa bed offers additional sleeping space. The bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed and a wardrobe, while the bathroom with shower and toilet leaves nothing to be desired.

Outside, all guests have access to a shared garden with a grill, seating, and a fire pit. It’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy social evenings, or let the kids run wild. This spacious garden is part of the property, which also features additional holiday apartments, double rooms, and even an event hall that can be booked as needed.

The surrounding area offers far more than just the immediate natural idyll. The building is located directly on the Nebel River, in close proximity to a historic watermill. The Nebel Valley, as well as the entire Mecklenburg Lake District—of which Kuchelmiß is a part—invite you to enjoy long bike rides and hikes, swimming trips, and boat tours. Explore the wide range of recreational activities, such as a nearby golf course, bowling alleys, observation towers, and the Güstrow water park. During the season, our on-site café also offers cakes and pastries upon request, as well as products made from alpaca wool and fresh eggs from the farm.
