Het Bokkegat is a breeding paradise for birds and a home for deer, hares, and countless other animal species. Mornings here begin with birdsong, and walking and cycling paths invite exploration all day long.

By bike, you can quickly reach the cozy village of Wissenkerke for some shopping or a bite to eat at the restaurant. The Sophiastrand and Banjaardstrand are also easily accessible by bike, as are the picturesque villages of Veere and Domburg. Those looking for the Oosterschelde will find a wide beach to relax on or go kitesurfing. For a day of shopping, Middelburg and Goes are a twenty-minute drive away.
