Huerta Real is a rural cortijo over 150 years old, set in a unique natural environment near the Sierra de Baza and the city of Baza. The property spans 3 hectares, where agricultural activities range from olive groves to vegetable gardens. Just 30 meters from the cortijo’s entrance runs the Caz Mayor irrigation canal, mentioned in documents after the Reconquista—an Andalusi canal that has supported irrigation and the economy of the Vega de Baza for centuries.



Cortijo Huerta Real is located in the Ribera de Baza, where you can enjoy family walks through the area, discovering gardens, fountains, and old cortijos, always with the Sierra de Baza as a backdrop. The property is in a strategic spot to start various routes through the Sierra de Baza, which offers hundreds of kilometers of forest trails ideal for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking, with options for families and more technical routes. Less than 50 meters from the cortijo, the greenway winds through the lush local countryside.
