Our beautiful condo is located on the world famous Kaanapali Beach and shores. You can't get any closer to the ocean then the MAUI KAI Resort, the Bldg. Is just feet away with the best snorkeling right outside the front door. As you relax on the lanai, it's easy to spend hours watching the surfers, windsurfers, parasailing, kayakers, boats, and the beautiful
whales during season in Maui. As you enter the condo you will be amazed by the open tropical feeling and panoramic ocean view. This unit is located on the second floor, so if you prefer, you don't have to wait for an elevator. There's ample free parking on the property. The condo has a fully stocked kitchen with granite counter tops and cooking Island , a hotel style safe, high-speed Internet with free Wi-Fi, free , 46' Samsung Flat Screen Cable TV with a HD DVR plus a Sony multi-region DVD Player.

The bedroom has a brand new king size bed on bamboo hardwood floors, and the tiled living room has a queen size sofa sleeper, a very comfortable leather recliner WITH CAPACITY TO 2 PEOPLE. On the same floor, a laundry room with washer and dryer are available. Beach towels, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards are available to use in the condo. Stores and restaurants are within walking distance. There's a new boardwalk leading to Kaanapali's famous Black Rock, which makes it a little more comfortable for a great morning walk along the beachfront without having to trek through the sand if prefered. Although the Long Beach walk to black rock is havenly. For us the condo is our home-away-from-home, and we invite you to feel at home during your stay. Our Condo is managed by my on island agent living near by, so if there any problem he may assist you

It's all about the view

Whales and rainbows. You won't find a better view even if you stay at one of the high end Kaanapali hotels . Absolutely amazing. You can walk to the grocery store and the Kaanapali sidewalk is close by . Also recommend going to the nearby Fish Market , great tacos and really fresh fish

Talk about the whales !!

We had a great stay at Gaspare and Robins condo. Just a few steps to a great beach to the right , which we didn’t notice until the end of the stay. A long beach and beach walk to the left. Whales every day from the lanai. We walked to get groceries and to eat. The condo had everything we needed. Comfortable stay and great kitchen to cook in. We would stay here again. Thanks Gaspare and Robin.

Perfect place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The suite is spacious and meticulous and the view of the ocean is spectacular. We had a great time at the pool and hot tub. There is also table tennis and a foosball table which was great. The bbq grills are upscale and extremely well maintained. The beaches near the building are awesome as the reef is in close proximity, saw some cool fish and sea turtles. There is a food truck spot which is walking distance with some great options. Communication was excellent! Gaspare is an excellent host and also accommodated us for a late checkout as we had a late night flight. We look forward to staying here again.

Wonderful stay and cannot recommend enough!

We loved this place. We have always stayed in Ka’anaapali area and we were so happy to find this gem. You open the big windows and it’s like you’re above the ocean. We saw turtles swimming right outside while we ate lunch. It was clean, check in was beyond easy, and the hosts are so communicative and sweet. In sum, perfect place and location, stupid gorgeous ocean views, and lovely hosts. We will definitely be staying here again!

Heaven on Earth!

We loved everything about our stay at Gaspare and Robin's condo. The location was perfect, its exactly as described and includes everthing you could possibly need! The view is spectacular and we watched turtles and the sunset from the lanai every day. The snorkeling is amazing on the beach to the left towards Black Rock. We saw turtles and so many kinds of fish every day!. Great restaurants are nearby...we loved Leilanis on the Beach, The Fish Market and Miss Arepa! Gaspare is so accomodating and helpful. We highly recommend staying here and if we can ever get bavk to Maui, would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing Stay

Condo was perfect for our getaway for our 35th wedding anniversary. The place is quiet and so comfortable. View was AMAZING! Loads to do around the property and awesome restaurants. We loved the boogie boards and the snorkeling gear, lots of laughs on our adventure to Slaughter House beach viewing all kinds of fish. Condo itself was comfortable and very well appointed. Bed was super comfy, the shower was nice and hot. Would definitely recommend!

The Perfect Family Vacation

Our family had a wonderful stay at this condo. Gaspere was quick to respond to all of our questions and was always helpful and accommodating. The little touches like having the pull out couch bed set up for our kids when we arrived were perfect and made a difference. The location was central to all of our activities and helped make this the perfect family vacation. We will miss sitting on the lanai drinking our morning coffee and listening to the waves crash.

Wonderful condo with a million dollar view

My husband and I loved this condo. This condo is very clean and comfortable. The bed is heavenly - we slept better here than at home. There were snorkel masks, beach towels, coolers and even binoculars to watch the whales from the lanai. The kitchen was very well equipped. The staff at the Maui Kai were always friendly and helpful. Thank you Gaspare for such a great stay and hopefully we will be back someday.

It was like home away from home. The unit was great and also on a good location. It has all the stuff needed to spend time at the beach like umbrella, mats and bogey boards. What a dream!

Gaspare and Robin were wonderful hosts. They gave detailed directions and information leading up to our stay and kept in touch throughout. Check in and check out were easy. The condo was a perfect size and location for my husband and I. You can’t get much closer to the beach than Maui Kai! The beach directly to the right of the property was perfect for swimming and lounging in the sand. One day on that beach, we were lucky enough to see an endangered Hawaiian monk seal sleeping on the sand ( that part of the beach was securely roped off that day so the seal would not be disturbed). We loved spending time on the condo’s lanai, especially for sunsets. We saw whales from a distance, sea turtles, dolphins and a few rainbows. Truly magical! The condo was well stocked and we appreciated the beach towels, cooler, and beach chairs.Having the food truck park just a few minutes walk was such an added bonus. Thank you!!

Everything you need for a stay in Maui!

I stayed here with my two teen children (18 and 20) for a week in July 2022. This condo has everything you need. We especially appreciated the beach chairs and small cooler to take to the beach. The views from the lanai were amazing. The Ka'Anapali Beachwalk starts right next door and is an easy 5 minute walk. Check in was easy and communication with the owner was seamless. We didn't use the grills at the pool, but appreciated that they were there. We stopped at Costco by the airport after picking up the rental car so had food for breakfasts and lunches all week then went out for dinners. Maui was amazing and I hope to get back again. Would definitely stay here a second time.

Awesome Unit

The unit's awesome - 10 ft from the Ocean. Large sliding glass doors take up most of the wall facing the ocean, so we mostly kept them open listening to the sound of the ocean...it's legit. It's updated and appointed nicely. The bed's great. The location's perfect. We were there for 10 days, visited and chilled on 12 or more remarkable beaches within an hours drive, and my favorite was probably out in front of the unit (walk out front and down the beach to the left about 40 yards). It's super convenient and the people were the nicest as well. The unit's just 10 miles south of Honolua Bay - my favorite part of Maui, so make sure you check that out if you're there. The building has new, super nice gas grills. We ate out half the time, grilled half the time, and my favorite meals were the ones we grilled by far. Had a blast on the trip...maybe the best yet :)

Perfect location and gorgeous views!

Condo was the perfect size for the two of us and had all the amenities that you need. The lanai was beautiful and the views were amazing. Couldn’t believe how how many whales and calves we saw. Although we were there when the COVID-19 hit the islands we still had a great time. Just needed to practice social distancing and play cards and enjoy the view from the lanai. There is a great boardwalk to go walking and many stores within walking distance. Including a grocery store. The pool is smaller but never crowded and the grills/grilling area was sufficient and we were always able to grill when we wanted in the evening. The staff at Maui Kai are amazing. Gaspare was wonderful in letting us stay as late as we needed to the day that we flew out since everything was pretty much shut down due to the COVID-19. He was always friendly and answered any questions that we had even before we even arrived on the island. We would love to stay here again. Absolutely amazing.

Clean and comfortable.

The condo at the Maui Kai was a great place to stay. It does not have some of the amenities that the larger resorts provide, such as huge glamorous pools or on site restaurants, but it's a very short walk to others that are nearby. Groceries and food trucks are also in walking distance. The condos have kitchens and separated rooms, like apartments, so they really feel like a home away from home, rather than a cramped hotel room. Laundry is available on each floor. The owners also leave sundries such as snorkel gear, binoculars, etc. that can be enjoyed without having to buy or rent them, or pack from home. The beach is right outside your window, so you can enjoy the sound of the waves and the beautiful sunsets over Maloka'i and Lanai, and watch whales all day if it's the season. It's only a few steps out the door to walk on the beach, and you can walk all the way down Ka'anapali to Black Rock. I stayed with my wife and son, while my older daughter and her boyfriend stayed in another room on the same property. It was a wonderful vacation, and if we choose Maui as the island we visit again on our next trip, I'll be looking for rooms here again.

Delightful Condo with Million-Dollar View

I am an older person who was staying alone in this condo, and it was perfect. First the essentials: it was immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was accessible, with a building elevator, a walk-in shower, and a ramp to the elevator lobby. The decor was cute - all Hawaiian-themed, but not too precious. The kitchen was well-appointed with everything I needed. But the best part of all was the full ocean view from the lanai. I could open the windows and feel as though I were on a ship - that's how close it is to the water. Since I needed to take time to rest on this trip, the gorgeous view made me feel like I was still on vacation, even during those times that I wasn't out and about. The building was very quiet. The pool was small and basic, but it was clean and never crowded - in fact, I was in there alone a couple of times, with other people sunbathing on the deck. The owners were very helpful when I had an issue getting to the condo the first night because of a brush fire on the highway. Gaspare was pleasant and responsive in all my contact with him. There were plenty of towels and lots of thoughtful touches throughout the condo. It really felt like a pleasant home away from home - but with better sunsets! The location is great, with shopping and food trucks nearby, and a short drive to Lahaina. Duke's Restaurant is just a couple of minutes away, and was excellent. I highly recommend this condo and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Paradise…Found!

Where to start..as this was the most interesting trip we have ever set up, and our first via VRBO. We set the trip up back at the end of March time frame for the middle of September. From the beginning, the owner, Gaspare, was very communicative and responsive to any and all questions that we had via both email and text. Then, there is the lull for a few months until it is time to travel. No one could have ever fathomed what would occur on Maui August 8th with the fires. It was and still is truly a tragedy. We wondered if we’d be able to travel, was our condo caught up in the flames, is it safe. All of those things crossed our minds. Gaspare reached out not long after the power had been restored to the area. He was able to answer all of our questions about restaurants and groceries that were open, local attractions in the area that would be closed still when we arrived, and what we might encounter. All of this while saying he understood if we needed to cancel or postpone our stay. We would get a full refund if we chose to cancel. This was within 2 weeks of our travel date that he said this! We made the choice to continue our trip out to Maui Kai on September 11th. It was the best decision we’d ever make! The condo was everything that we needed for my wife and I. The accommodations were first class. The view from our lanai I would put up against most any view on the island and still probably pick ours! Thanks again Gaspare for the best trip we could ask for!

We fell in love with this unique location because it's so close to the beach and ocean. When you relax in the living room or on the lanai, you actually feel as if your on a cruise ship sailing by in the ocean. The Maui Kai is quiet and quaint and the perfect setting for a family vacation. You can completely relax and enjoy the gentle breeze of the warm trade winds, see the palm trees sway, and smell the fragrance of the most beautiful flowers. You can view the spectacular rainbows and sunsets right in front of the condo. The 'Maui Kai' translates perfectly into the 'Maui Ocean'.
