Eselhuam – Charming Alpine Cabin Retreat on Fressenberg

Welcome to Eselhuam on Fressenberg. At around 1,000 meters above sea level, Eselhuam offers you a unique retreat in the heart of Styria’s natural beauty. Our lovingly furnished alpine cabin accommodates up to 6 guests, combining cozy charm with everything you need for a relaxing stay.



The cabin features 2 comfortable bedrooms, a bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine and filter coffee maker. Wi-Fi, heating, a fan, step-free access, and easy self-check-in provide extra comfort.



Outside, the terrace offers wonderful mountain views and direct access to the garden. A gas grill and fire pit invite you to cook, barbecue, or simply unwind with a glass of wine in the evening.



In summer, about 20 donkeys graze on the surrounding meadows. If you wish, you can meet the animals and fully enjoy the peaceful nature.



For your stay, parking for up to 2 cars, a bike and ski storage room, and an EV charging station are available. Eselhuam is easily accessible by car, yet remains wonderfully secluded and quiet. Here, you can relax in nature while still reaching many attractions and leisure activities in the Murtal region quickly.



Eselhuam is a place to breathe deeply, slow down, and feel at home. We welcome guests who appreciate peace, nature, and Styrian hospitality. Please note: Eselhuam is intended as a quiet retreat and is not suitable for parties or events.
