Updated stylish villa on Emerald Island resort - lake views - 10 mins to Disney

Our Emerald Island Lake View villa has been fully renovated and updated in Oct/Nov 2024, the villa is bright, contemporary and stylish, whilst still offering the same space, home away from home feel and wonderful views over the lake behind. You will find a NEWLY fitted high-quality kitchen, new bathrooms and new flooring throughout, as well updated furnishings.

Enjoy the calming seating area in the front living area, where you can pause to read a book or take some time out from your busy holiday. The fitted kitchen with granite countertop is perfectly equipped for preparing a home cooked meal when you become tired of eating out and the new dining table will comfortably seat 8. In the morning perch on the breakfast bar stools to enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast.

The family room area, overlooking the pool and lake has a large cosy U-shaped sofa with a chaise and seating for 8, curl up and watch your favourite cable channels on the 65-inch Smart TV or log into a streaming app to watch the shows you love.

Enjoy chill time by the pool, taking in the lake views and regular wildlife visitors and get a glimpse of the Magic Kingdom fireworks each night. There are 5 padded sun loungers for those lazy days by the pool with your favourite book, as well as a table, chairs and umbrella.

The master bedroom has a Smart TV and is also connected to cable channels and in one of the twin bedrooms you will find a small Smart TV which can be used for Netflix/Prime etc.

The games room has an 8-foot pool table and table football, for some fun on a wet day!

Free WiFi is provided at the villa and our guests can also enjoy the facilities of Emerald Island free of charge, these include a communal pool, sauna, tennis courts, volleyball court, clubhouse, fitness room and children's play area and mini golf.

Emerald Island is a prestigious gated community with a tropical feel, it is a calm oasis just 3 miles from Disney and in easy reach of all other attractions, supermarkets and a whole host of restaurants, the new Margaritaville resort is just a few minutes away.

All bed linens, towels and pool towels are included in the rental.

The villa is rented on a self-catering basis, but to get you started we provide toilet rolls in each of the bathrooms, hand soap, kitchen roll, a few dishwasher tabs and cleaning sponge.

There is also a highchair and pack and play crib available at the property for your use.
If you would like to rent a BBQ, wooden crib or other equipment, please let us know and we can arrange this for you.

Amazing Rental - 5 Stars!

We enjoyed this home so much for our family vacation! It was extremely clean and well taken care of. The backyard view was so calming and we could see the magic kingdom fireworks at night! The gated community was perfect, had playground, nature trail, a pool and hot tub as well that we used!

Best vacation ever

The house was better than expected. The pictures did not do it justice. The community is quiet and well lit with wonderful walking trails. The pool was clean and warm even for February.

The Jewel of Emerald Island

This freshly and thoroughly-renovated property was beautiful before the updates, and now it's an ever greater gem. The owners are generous, kind, and very responsive. We have stayed here three times, and we love it.

Great house and location!

We really enjoyed our stay in the rental property. It had everything we needed and was close to Disney World. We had morning visits from Sandhill Cranes and really enjoyed our time by the pool.

Perfect family vacation

Our perfect family vacation started at this beautiful villa. We had plenty of space for our adult and teenage children. The pool was a hit and we appreciated how warm and relaxing the water was after a fun filled day at Disney. The vila was close to Walmart and Target and plenty of dining options close by. The Disney parks were a short drive. We spent one day enjoying the resort property- pickle ball courts, corn hole, club house pool and mini golf. Fun walks along the nature trails enjoying the beautiful flowers and plants. We would definitely book this property again!

Luxury and Comfort

Our family of 6 was so comfortable. The pool just outside the backdoor was a such a treat. Kids could be out there at 7am while I sat in my pj's on a large comfortable couch with a coffee. This is a true vacation. Very convenient for all 4 Disney parks.

Very nice vacation home

Had a great time in this home, especially enjoyed the pool every day! Kids loved the pool table, swimming, and having their own bedrooms. Adults loved the onsite laundry and well stocked kitchen for cooking. Unfortunately, when we needed someone to come look at a leaky toilet, we were not able to get ahold of anyone so we couldn't use the one bathroom. Overall, its a great place to stay.

Emerald Isle Lake View

My family rated this as one of our best holiday rentals ever! The property was exactly as described, spacious and furnished to a high standard. We only had one occasion to trouble the local property agent with a query, and this was resolved immediatly without fuss. It was very conveniently located for all the Disney theme parks (Animal Kingdom being the closest, within 5 minutes drive), although the Universal parks were a 30-40 minute drive away, dependent on traffic. Highly recommended!

Best Stay in Florida Yet!

We travel to FL annually and rent homes all around the Kissimmee area, and this one was perfect in every way and our best stay in the area in a decade. Plenty of space for all six adults, beautifully-furnished, clean, and well-kept home, pool was nice and warm, and the private view of the lake and wildlife was amazing. Emerald Island is so close to everything, and the price was fair and worth every penny. The homeowner was very helpful and kind to us, and we do not have a single complaint about our stay. We were sad to leave after a week there. We are hopeful this location will be available the next time we travel. You cannot go wrong booking this property. Thank you!

Pool was a hit

The space in this house was great! My kids really enjoyed the heated pool when we weren’t at Disney which was a short drive. The kitchen was well stocked and there were lots of towels and facecloths. The house could use a deep clean(especially carpets) and some maintenance. We had an issue with the main bathroom tub/shower and the owner was very responsive but the management company was not. It did not end up getting fixed. Overall we had a good stay!

Good Overall

This is a good property that has been tastefully decorated. The descriptions and pictures are accurate and we liked the all the mod cons. It’s a little tired in places and we were let down by the pool not working properly, requiring emails to the owner and visit by management company. They got to going again and were apologetic but it had a leak, loses pressure and therefore doesn’t heat up. When it worked it was great, so just needs fixing.

Lovely place

We had a wonderful stay. The host was very helpful whenever we had any issues. The internet was down, but quickly fixed. The aircon had a malfunction, but also was quickly fixed. Be very aware of the water level in the pool. If it drops low, the pump will stop working. The pool guy came and fixed it, but it took a little while, about 24hours, where we couldn’t use the pool because of the cleaning process after the pump was working again. We absolutely loved the house and had all the help we needed from our host. Would love to come back!

Overall our stay at this home was very good. The home access and check in/out was very easy. The home itself was a very good size and we used the pool almost daily. I would say two things could have been better. The first is the sliding door and window above it looks to have had some water damage and there appears to be some mold. The second thing is that even though the overall cleanliness of the home was good it could have used a deeper clean. There was a lot of dusting need especially in the master bathroom. The walls and baseboards also could of used an overall clean. Otherwise great home and great vacation for my family.

Brought my mom to see her sister who lives here

My mother doesn’t travel alone and I brought her to see her sister she hasn’t seen in 8 years. My sister and her son met us from LA. We wanted to get a house to be comfortable in and thought it would be more affordable since there were 4 of us. Pros-the price of the house was definitely one of the more affordable places we looked at and we wanted to keep it comparable to a hotel suite. We liked it had a pool. The house is large and in a gated community and safe. There was enough room for us all. We liked it had enough bedrooms, bathrooms, and it was easy to check In. Cons: the place was pretty dirty when we arrived. I’m not sure what was cleaned. The floors were sticky, and the beds seemed unwashed (we found crackers in one of the rooms) . The air was on 78 and locked hold so it was well over 80 degrees when we arrived and it took over 24 hours to cool and it never cooled below 74 degrees. The master bedroom cooled decent but the other bedrooms got very stuffy. The table had mats on it that were all flipped over and dirty with food on the opposite side and the table was filthy. I contacted the management company and I was told to contact who I booked the property with for any assistance, and there seemed to be some confusion with that. The WiFi code didn’t exist/work. Cable tv, was off/on It served the purpose but needs a thorough scrub down and major updates and some fresh paint. There are stains on many walls. The cleaning service could alleviate a lot.

Lovely Universal Vacation

Check in was a breeze, The gated community and House were very nice! The house was overall quite clean upon arrival. The Fireworks at magic Kingdom could be seen and were a great touch to being out in the pool every night. Mini golf at the clubhouse was great. All the appliances were newer and easy to use.My kids loved having their own rooms. We had a great relaxing time away at this location. Great central location. I would just like to mention that the next issues are most likely due to the property management and pool company then a reflection on the owner. Also may be due to the time of year we were vacationing there? After settling in we immediately noticed the pool water level was very low and causing the pool heat and pump to be inoperable. After adding water to the pool the pump and heating came on, but we went most of the next day with a cold pool. We also noticed the poolside furniture was dirty and covered with cobwebs(had to clean ourselves) The garage was very dirty and I had to sweep it out and remove cobwebs so my kids could play billiards and foosball. The Bikes had flat tires so we didn't bother using them. The PlayStation unfortunately we could not use as the charger for the controllers was not working for some reason. There are a few things that could be replaced such as the cooking utensils and pans. They are pretty tired. I would recommend that for future a pool solar cover would be a great idea to save energy and heat at night during colder weather.

Absolutely fantastic home

This is by far the best rental villa I have stayed in over many years. Access was simple and the home was immaculate throughout. The photographs are honestly a true and accurate description of this property. The location is fantastic and it is so easy to get to shops, restaurants and theme parks when required. Emerald Island is a safe gated community which is beautifully well kept. The villa is situated over looking a small lake and then a conservation area in the far distance. So peaceful. The villa is very well furnished and maintained, with no faults whatsoever. The linen, towels (by Ralph Lauren) and all furnishings are all of brilliant quality which is sometimes not always the case with rental properties. It was nice to stay in a non-themed home. Over the years my grownup grandkids have not relished sleeping in a Princess or a Star Wars room !!! There was just two of us staying in this property so we had plenty of space! It was also nice to use this villa for a relaxing Orlando holiday. We did not attend any theme parks so spent a very relaxing week before heading down to the beach. The owners have been very responsive to any queries and are easy to work with. We had one minor issue with pool not operating properly but a quick phone call to the management company sorted this out immediately. The manager then came round about 30 minutes later to check the issue was rectified. Apparently because of the recent hot temperatures in Orlando, pool water levels are evaporating quickly and this in turn affects the pool's waterfalls and heater. I would not hesitate to recommend this immaculate and comfortable villa to future renters. I certainly will stay here again if it is available to us.

Great three months in Kissimmee

We had a very good stay here. The property manager was very responsive. We really enjoyed the neighborhood and the amenities. The house is very nice but needs some updates and tlc. We asked to have the carpet and family room couch cleaned as it was filthy. Derrick made it happen quickly and we really appreciated it. The house was pretty clean when we checked in but we had to wash all the pans as they were put away in the cabinet dirty and greasy. The housekeepers should check the cabinets. The pool is great but the lanai screen should probably be replaced. The location is so convenient and we really enjoyed the lake view behind the house.

We have always loved Florida, so in 2005 we decided to buy a villa, where we have had many very happy family holidays. We return each year and with 3 now grown up children there is always something for everyone. We not only still love the theme parks and everything that Orlando has to offer, but enjoy visiting the west coast, in particular Anna Maria Island.

Why they chose this property

We looked at many different villas, but chose Emerald Island Resort as it was so close to all of the attractions, whilst providing a peaceful haven to return to. We fell in love with our villa when we saw the views from the pool.

What makes this property unique

We love to enjoy time by our pool, it is so peaceful looking out over the lake. We are often visited by many different types of wildlife including Sand Cranes, Buzzards and Armadillos. Each evening you can glimpse the Magic Kingdom fireworks from our deck, which always seems magical.
