Westin Lagunamar Luxury 2 Bedroom Ocean View Villa

Recharge your body and soul in the intuitively designed, spacious villas at The Westin Lagunamar Ocean Resort. Your stylish two-bedroom villa in Cancún comfortably accommodates up to eight adults in 1,140 square feet, providing a private seaside balcony for enjoying Caribbean breezes, as well as luxurious comforts of home like a kitchen or kitchenette, washer and dryer, and generous living and dining areas with HDTVs, DVD player, Bose® system and High Speed Wireless Internet (included). All bedrooms also feature the signature Westin Heavenly® Bed, with layer after layer of refreshing down bedding, perfectly punctuating each sun-soaked, fun-filled day.

Renting from an owner gives you full resort access in the same rooms for a fraction of the price compared with booking directly from the resort. We are 5 star elite members and our guests will have access to the best rooms. The resort will take requests for floors (upper / lower floors) and for specific buildings. They cannot guarantee requests, but they try their best to accommodate guests and 5 star is the highest elite membership.

Per resort policies, requests can be made up to 12 months prior to check-in for one week stays checking in on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday and all other reservation requests can be made 8 months prior to check-in. The state of Quintana Roo requires a hospitality charge of approximately $15.44 and and environmental fee of approximately $4.44 per day to be charged at check-out. I am unable to include them in the rental because they are charged only at check-out.

La Isla Cancún, a large shopping area with great restaurants and stores, is located directly across the street! The Cancún Aquarium is there as well. There are great restaurants right on the water!

Family Vacation

Our family came to this resort in 2015 and loved it. We came back in 2025 and had an amazing time again. This resort does not disappoint! All staff members were very pleasant, always willing to assist. A wonderful resort! Don’t hesitate to enjoy the steak dinner night. It was incredibly delicious.

Great property and excellent host

I have stayed at this property previously and can say that it’s wonderful - rooms, grounds, pool, beach, location are all perfect. For this particular stay we did not actually make it to the property due to a family emergency but I must give 5 stars to Brandon for his communications, management of the reservation and kindness. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay in Cancun

My family and I just returned from a wonderful stay at the Westin Lagunamar in Cancun. This is our second time here, but first time booking through Vrbo. Brendan was super helpful and highly communicative. This resort is beautiful, very convenient to get to from the airport, and across the street from great shops/restaurants. I highly recommend the resort and working with Brendan on this or other properties.

My family of five were very comfortable at the Westin. The accommodations were so modern, clean and well thought out. Absolutely everything we needed was right there. The location was also close to dining and shopping options. Although we barely left the resort. Always fun games planned by staff for all ages!

Great stay

We've been to this property many times over the years with our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) and each time it is great. They've updated/renovated the rooms with new furnishings, fixtures, and paint. It's a great resort for families, with a kids club, and activities throughout the week. The 2 bedroom villa provides plenty of space to spread out. Brendan was awesome in helping us to secure the reservation and request which building we wanted to stay in. Would recommend this resort for families in a heartbeat!

Our Westin Lagunamar Christmas vacation at Brendan’s vacation rental was perfect! The view from ocean front building 14 is magnificent and the sound of the ocean so relaxing. With a one bedroom suite plus studio, we enjoyed plenty of space for 5 adults. This prime location property has been beautifully renovated since our last stay. Service is consistently exceptional. Do not hesitate to book.

Great vacation

Westin Lagunamara has one of the best locations on the strip! Access to tons of restaurants, 10 minutes walk to a grocery store, and beautiful beach. Food and drinks at the hotel were okay and expensive. Room was large and clean. They cleaned our room once during our week, which was great. Towels at the pool are tight. You get one card per guest that you have to turn in for a towel. So, if you like more than one towel, you may want to bring some. Hotel was very quiet. The majority of guests were retired snowbirds who stay for 2-6 weeks each winter. We had a great time talking to everyone by the pool and enjoyed hearing their stories. I would recommend for families of young children or individuals with disabilities.

Thanksgiving trip to Cancun

Our family of four traveled to Cancun for the week of Thanksgiving. We could not have had a better experience. The property itself was great. Despite it being large and a busy week for travel, nothing felt too busy at the resort. We could find beach and pool chairs even without going down at 6am (not the prime locations but we still always found something). The pools were amazing and the beach was beautiful. It wasn’t a loud party scene which some places can be in Cancun. The food on site wasn’t great but not terrible (though the pool restaurant had very limited food - I heard it had just recently changed the menu and people were not happy about it). Having all the restaurants in La Isla mall across the street was perfect, so we wouldn’t have stuck with resort food anyway. Check in was smooth, even letting us into our room an hour early. The process with Brendan was great as well. He answered all questions quickly when we were making our decision on where to stay. He provided all necessary information for check-in, and provided some tips that made the stay better. All in all I highly recommend both Lagunamar and Brendan.

Amazing resort, amazing owner!

I traveled Christmas week with my husband and two teenage children to the Westin Lagunamar. Not knowing what to expect, this report exceeded all of our expectations. First, owner Brendan Molloy is fabulous. All arrangements were taken care of, he recommended a great service to get to and from the airport (only 10 mintues max) and answered all of my questions asap. This is a time share resort so we had a 2 bedroom lock off affording us 2 bedrooms,2 bathrooms, two washers and dryers, 2 patios as well as a fully stocked kitchen and living room all with an ocean view! The resort provides everything from laundry detergent to great body lotion. The service all around was great. The bar at the main pool is amazing and we often ate lunch here while sitting in the water. The pool rule is if you leave your chairs for 45 mintues (and they do hang tags with times) you lose them....so we hit the beach. With the view of the bluest water I have seen, I returned to the pool to swim and eat but loved the beach. The guys working at the pool were great on the days we did sit there. The gym was small but ample and I never waited for equipment. AND there is Starbucks in the on site store! The resort is peaceful and never felt crowded. I had heard the hotel zone was hectic but we never felt this at all. We walked to restaurants every night but ate breakfast and snacks in the unit. I felt like I was a home as everything was so comfortable and easy. The people staying at the resort were very nice and friendly to boot! This resort is a great value as you get all of the amenities of home, is across from the La Isla mall where we did eat one night but went for ice cream most and it never had a line anywhere. We typically went to all inclusives and were tired of so-so food and lines for everything! This is the opposite in every way. I did hear the spa was great for massages but the week went so fast, I never got to try it. Next time for sure. Thank you Brendan as we cannot wait to return!

We LOVED everything about our stay at Westin Lagunamar! Brendan was very communicative about our reservation. The pool was so massive and warm - we spent so much time in it on our floaties and were never crowded. The palapas on the beach were very nice and the bar service was excellent. Three massive whirlpools were nice. We enjoyed the proximity to the La Isla Cancun right across the street that had many good restaurants. We didn’t need a car. We hope to stay there again.

Everything about this resort is top notch: room, views, pool, location, service, beach. Lots of activities (tennis, pickelball, golf, fitness equipment) if you aren’t in pool or ocean. I doubt there is a pool at any other resort on the hotel zone that tops the pools and views at this resort. I ran 1-2 miles north and south from this resort and saw nothing similar from the beach side. And think again if you are looking for an all-inclusive resort. The local restaurants in Cancun, especially those directly across the street or within 5 minute walk or bus ride, are fabulous. You are missing out if you skip dinners at local restaurants. The staff can help make reservations. Anytime we visit Cancun, this will be our go to resort.

Perfect Family Vacation!

We are a family of 2 grandparents, 2 parents and a 4 and 7 year old. This property was absolutely perfect with lots of shared family space and enough private space. The condo is lovely, well cared for and has everything we needed. We especially enjoyed having the 2 balconies. We used and enjoyed the community BBQ area often.....there are BBQ tools included. The grounds and pools are beautiful. The staff throughout are friendly and helpful. There is so much to do in the area that we will definitely be back again.
