Tarascon country retreat

Our stay at the Tarascon cottage was very enjoyable. It is is the country on a large property with horses and other animals. The cottage was clean and well equipped. Just a 3 minute drive into Terascon or 20 minutes to Arles or Avignon.

A peaceful, relaxing place to stay

We spent a week here and used the gite as a base to explore the area. It was lovely and peaceful even though it is only three kilometres from Tarascon. Madame Gibert was a charming hostess and between us with my poor French and her poor English we communicated very well. The gite is quite spacious and is well equipped with with comfortable beds and a pleasant courtyard area to relax in. It is a working farm and Monsieur was busy around the farm during the day. There are dogs, horses and chickens around the farm and you can walk around the fields. It is well situated for visiting many places of interest in the area and extremely good value for money. We enjoyed our stay.

Danielle and her family are excellent hosts - We loved the experience of spending a month there.

I highly recommend staying with Danielle, her family supper friendly dog and the chickens. We had a wonderful month there. We especially liked the shower and the convenient secure parking, next to the house. The simply, traditional authentic French interior was wonderful. Great location to get to Beaucaire, Tasrascon and Avignon. Not to mention the whole region of Provence - We used our time there to explore Nimes, Cannes, Monaco and Nice. Very, very nice people, They helped in every way, even helped so out a problem with my motorcycle. They let is have the house with a small garden and under cover parking for the motorcycle. Although Danielle's family and friends are very nice and friendly they were not instrusive. My only wish would have been to be able to communicate in French to speak with Danielle and her husband who are very warm and friendly - Family member did speak English, and it was a great opportunity to express who happiness to be there and say thank you for their friendlinrss and hospitality. I highly recommend anyone going to the Provence region to spend time with Danielle on her farm. If you don't you will be surely missing an opportunity. My wife especially like the two dogs and the puppy. They were ever so friendly and came round to see us often for a fuss. Thank you so much Danielle - we were so lucky to find your property when searching for somewhere to stay in Provence - we will definately stay with you again when we are in the area. Best wishes to you and your lovely family, for a great 2019 New year.

Mas Pitras

Wir können uns unseren Vorrednern nur uneingeschränkt anschließen, die Ferienwohnung ist toll, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Wir sind eine kleine Familie mit Kind und haben recht kurzfristig eine Ferienwohnung gesucht die gut liegt, um die vielen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in Südfrankreich besuchen zu können. Mas Pitras ist ein familiärer Hof, auf dem man sich nur wohlfühlen kann. Familie Gibert ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, dennoch diskret- genau im richtigen Maß. Der Hof ist sehr gepflegt und schön gestaltet, genau wie die Ferienwohnung. Es hat uns an nicht's gefehlt. Vielen Dank Familie Gibert.

Hôtes disponibles et très très sympathiques. Logement très agréable. Seuls bémols : pas mal de mouches (c'est la ferme) et certains sommiers/lits sont vraiment à changer.

Très bon accueil

Gîte très agréable, bien équipé, silencieux avec une literie moelleuse. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et disponibles en cas de soucis. Les quatres bordercolies sont adorables. L'endroit est bien situé entre Arles, Nimes et Avignon. Les voies vertes ne sont pas loin pour la pratique du vélo.

Très bon accueil par les propriétaires. Logement propre et bien équipé, rien ne manque. Très bien situé pour qui souhaite visiter les plus beaux sites et villes de la région (Arles, Nîmes, les Baux, Uzes, Tarascon, Beaucaire). Nous avons apprécié la présentation de ces visites dans le roadbook qui nous est remis. Propriétaires très agréables et de bon conseils.

Wunderbar – merveilleux

Sehr kurzfristig haben wir – vier Erwachsene, ein Kind – uns zu einem verlängerten Wochenende in der Provence entschieden. Und wir hatten großes Glück: Das schöne Ferienhaus war noch frei, Buchung/Absprache mit Mme Gilbert gingen schnell und unkompliziert. Das Ferienhaus ist bestens ausgestattet, komfortabel und sauber. Die Terrasse wird zum Wohn- und Esszimmer, von dort tut sich ein herrlicher Blick auf den Garten und die Felder auf. Zum Grillen gibt es in einem kleinen Nebengebäude einen großen offenen Kamin; Hunde, Pferde und Hühner sorgen für Freude bei Groß und Klein. Das Mas Pitras liegt geografisch perfekt, um in die Camargue und ans Meer, nach Arles, Avignon, Nimes oder in die Alpilles und an den Pont du Gard zu fahren. Wir haben die Zeit in Tarascon sehr genossen und danken Mme und Mr Gilbert für ihre Gastfreundschaft.

Beau gite (chambres spacieuses, grande pièce de vie et cuisine ouverte agréable, encore mieux en vrai qu'en photo !), très bien conservé avec de beaux matériaux. Terrasse agréable, propriété au calme, propriétaires discrets, très avenants et de bons conseil pour explorer la région. A recommander sans hésiter pour des familles (tout équipé pour les petits) ou en couple!

Wir haben uns absolut wohl gefühlt im Mas Pitras . Die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber. der Bauernhof, die Tiere, es war angenehm und entspannt. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und gepflegt. Dass das Auto auf dem Gelände in einem Carport geparkt werden konnte, war prima. Das Mas liegt etwas ausserhalb und ist in sich abgeschlossen. Merci beaucoup, Famille Gibert.

perfekte Wohnung, sehr hübsch

der Aufenthalt war sehr gut, die Wohnung gut ausgestattet. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die beiden Hofhunde haben uns täglich begrüßt und waren total verschmust. Leider konnten wir abends nicht draußen sitzen,da es dort in der Region von Stechmücken wimmelt. Es ist aber viel besser, als direkt in der Camargue. Wir können diese Fewo gern empfehlen. Auch die Familie Gibert ist sehr nett und freundlich, der Herr spricht auch Deutsch. Also gerne wieder.

Gepflegte Wohnung mitten in der Provence

Saubere und ordentliche Wohnung. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett, haben uns geholfen die Gegend zu erkunden. Der Ort ist sehr günstig gelegen um das Mittelmeer und die Städte der Provence zu besuchen. Man sollte hier mit Auto anreisen. Direkt um die Wohnung kann man prima mit dem Rad durch die Felder fahren. Würden hier noch einmal übernachten.

Quiet base for visiting Provence

This home (attached to owner's farm house) is ideally located for day trips around the Provence. The home is very comfortable and the owner (who lives on property) is helpful and pleasant.

Ideal location close to nice villages in the area. Comfortable and clean.

Well equipped kitchen (just be aware it is defined as “gite” which means towels are not included) and looks like/better than pictures. Kids loved nice dogs, hens and horses. Very quiet and calmed. Located 20min from St.Remy and Baux and 1h from Lourverin (must see market). A bit cold given cold weather for the season and small double-bed but overall comfortable.

Ne pas confondre gîte est hôtel. L'accueil pratiqué est familial et repose sur une disponibilité, une convivialité, des échanges invitant à la découverte, et sur une générosité favorisant les relations entre propriétaires et vacanciers. Le linge de maison, draps et serviettes sont fournis ou pas, et très souvent payant. Le lit double est en 140.

Excellent WE au Mas Pitras!

Merci à Danielle et à son mari, nos très sympathiques hôtes, pour leur accueil très chaleureux, et leurs attentions! Le gîte est très agréable, propre, spacieux (nous sommes venus à 6) et bien fonctionnel, le site est charmant. Sa localisation est parfaite par rapport à tout ce qu'il y a à découvrir dans la région, et il y a de quoi faire! Danielle a d'ailleurs bien su nous aiguiller! Elle a à coeur de partager ses connaissances, et les bons plans. Mission accomplie : nos journées ont été bien remplies pour notre plus grand plaisir!, nous sommes repartis des images plein la tête, et l'envie de revenir dès que possible.
