The apartment Martina is situated on the first floor of Palazzo Bragho, an ancient and noble "Palazzo" built in 1721, in the heart of Tropea town centre, 5 minutes walk to the sandy beach ( we also provide the beach umbrella to take to the public beach). The apartment is very fresh, equipped with wi-fi, terrace in Arabian Style, one first entrance room where there is: tv, sofa, 2 single beds, wardrobe and celing fan. A second 40 square metres room provided with balcony which faces on Piazza Galluppi and window which faces on via Pontorieri + confortable sleeping loft. Downstairs, there is on the right side a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, gas oven, and toaster + indipendent bathroom with cabin shower, bidet and hairdryer, On the left side there is a sofa bed for 2 guests + bedside table and wardrobe.
Upstairs, there is a wooden mezzanine with one double bed and 1 single bed, toilet, wardrobe and ceiling fan. (There is also a common washing machine situated in the storage). Town centre is closed to all the vehicles of non residential people, the parking is 10 minutes walk to your accommodation. Check in: 16.00 - check out: 10.00, if your train or plane leave after 10.00, you can leave your luggage here and take it before your train or plane departure.
Upon arrival we provide our guests with the town centre map (including information of the streets, shops, restaurants, tour agencies, and more, we also add the discount card which can be used for special discounts on the price list at local restaurants, pizzerias, coffee bars. The apatment is situated in the heart of Tropea town centre, town centre is closed to all the vehicles of non residential people, parking is close to the train station (via stazione/Eni gas station, 10 minutes walk to the apartment), anyway we suggest in August to come by train because is not easy to find a car park.

If you're looking to experience a genuine Tropea experience/accomodation, this is the place. A beautiful, old building with high ceilings, character and charm but with a washing machine and internet! Although it is located centrally, it is very quiet and peaceful inside. The owner, Pasquale, is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and kind. Our third visit to Tropea and our favourite accommodation.

Central Tropea

Our stay at Pasquale’s apartment was wonderful, and relaxing. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, in Tropea. A highlight was meeting Pasquale and Vivian. They were warm and welcoming. Vivian shared some local recipes. We arrived during a rainstorm, and Pasquale met us at the train station and helped us with some grocery shopping to help get our week started.

The Palazzo is very spacious with stunning views from our balcony. The location in Tropea is simply perfect. Pasquale is the best host ever, he is funny, wise, charming, incredibly well informed and unbelievably kind. Thank you so much!

Magnificent Tropea

Perfect host in Pasquale The property is the most amazing building situated in an ideal location. We found it very close to great restaurants and bars not to mention a quiet stroll down some stairs to an amazing beach.We all loved how great the people were and how friendly and safe we felt in a truely amazing holiday destination Pasquale went out of his way to help us on arrival and get us started on an amazing eight day holiday. I would not hesitate in recommending this property for your next holiday destination I know we will go back in the not to distant future

Lovely apartment in historic building

We had a fab time in Tropea in this lovely apartment. Pasquale met us in the centre and walked us round to the apartment where we were introduced to the turtle (which our daughter loved!). He had laid on bottles of water and basket of fruit which was most welcoming. Pasquale lives in the adjacent apartment so was on hand if needed (i.e. for beach towels when we couldn't find them). He was very amenable but didn't crowd us so it didn't feel intrusive. A map was provided on arrival and a discount card for several restaurants in the area. Although not one covered by the discount card, we can highly recommend the Il Convivio which was in the alley way opposite the "other entrance" to the building. (The other entrance is blocked because it is a tourist attraction and many people have their photo taken by it. ) If you go to Il Convivio you have to try the steak in four cheese sauce - there isn't anwhere that you will get a better steak - it was seriously good. Most of the restaurants specialise in seafood but be careful what you ask for - do you research first or you could end up with a fish that you don't know how (or which bits) to eat! There are loads of steps (approx 160) to get down to the beach which was very busy but worth the effort for the beautiful crystal clear sea. The views were amazing. Pasquale provided a beach umbrella which came in useful, although the cost of umbrella and chairs on the private beaches wasn't too extortionate. One thing to mention if you have a young family is that there is a nighclub a few doors away that plays music well into the early hours (3am on most nights). However, this didn't bother us too much as the sea air meant we fell asleep relatively quickly! We highly recommend both Tropea and the Martina apartment. Thank you Pasquale, we're very glad we booked this trip.

Perfekt für einen Familienurlaub ohne Auto

Die Wohnung, die in einem Adelspalast aus dem 18. Jahrhundert gelegen ist, war für uns perfekt für einen Oktober-Familienurlaub ohne Auto. Man kommt bequem in 15 Minuten zu Fuß vom Bahnhof zur Unterkunft, in wenigen Minuten steigt man 196 Stufen zum Strand hinunter und hat die Altstadt mit dem Dom, supervielen Restaurants und Läden direkt vor der Nase. 20 Minuten sind wir zu einem großen Supermarkt gelaufen. Nachts bzw. abends ist es durch die Restaurants unter und hinter der Wohnung etwas lauter, und morgens wird z.T. schon um 5 Uhr der Müll abgeholt, aber wenn man die Fenster schließt, bekommt man davon nichts mit. Durch die enorme Raumhöhe (ca. 6 m) war die Zimmerluft für uns auch keineswegs stickig. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen Selbstversorger-Urlaub braucht. Eine Waschmaschine und Terrasse im Innenhof zur gemeinschaftlichen Nutzung mit anderen Feriengästen ist auch vorhanden. Pasquale, der Vermieter, hat wirklich eine Sonder-Auszeichnung verdient. Er war außerordentlich kulant und zuvorkommend, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Der Gastgeber war sehr nett und freundlich. Doe Lage vom Apartment ist in der Nähe vom Meer, man muss aber 200 Treppen steigen. Der Urlaub hat uns sehr gefallen.

Es war klar, dass es keine Parkmöglichkeit gibt; zu dieser Reisezeit war es dann jeden Tag eine gewisse Herausforderung, abends einen Parkplatz zu finden. Am 1. Abend hat uns der Vermieter einen Parkplatz bei einem Freund vermittelt, sonst hätten wir wohl noch Stunden gesucht. Leider macht die Reinigungskraft der Wohnung keinen guten Job. Der Urlaub begann mit einem Putzeinsatz meinerseits. Die Lage der Wohnung hat Vor- und Nachteile: die Altstadt ist direkt vor der Haustüre, was abendliches Bummeln leicht machte. Natürlich ist es in den Altstadt-Gassen laut, abends bis ca. 23:30 Uhr und morgens um 5 kommt die Müllabfuhr. Trotzdem haben wir unseren Urlaub dort genossen, was vor allem der Hilfsbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit des Vermieters zu verdanken war.

una formidabile settimana all'appartamento Martina.

Cominciamo con l'host. Pasquale è preparato, affabile e premuroso. Soprattutto è esperto: questo lo induce a supportare proattivamente gli ospiti. Ha già una risposta ad un tuo dubbio per la vacanza. E' una sicurezza nell'ordinaria amministrazione. Poi, per le eccezioni che capitano in vacanza ha una rete di contatti completa e rassicurante. Ora l'appartamento. Provatelo per capire come, nel 1700, funzionasse l'aria condizionata naturale. Mura spesse, posizione invidiabile, soffitti alti e finiture moderne. Si dimentica l'auto e si è proiettati nel salotto buono di tropea. Ci sono un po' di scalini per andare in spiaggia, ma nel borgo più bello d'italia è una sublime piacevolezza.

Diese Unterkunft ist für einen Aufenthalt in Tropea perfekt! Das Appartement ist super schön, in einem alten arabischen Gebäude, mit schönem Innenhof und hohen Decken. Die Wohnung bietet alles was man braucht, inkl Badezimmer und vollausgestatteter Küche. Die Lage ist perfekt! Näher kann man dem Strand quasi nicht sein, man muss nur den Platz hinter dem Haus überqueren und ist schon an der Treppe! Mit atemberaubender Aussicht übers Meer. Ein paar Meter in die andere Richtung und man ist schon fast im Ortskern. Wir waren eine Woche mit unserer vier jährigen Tochter hier und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Eine Parkmöglichkeit gibt es ca 10 Gehminuten entfernt. In der Hauptsaison sollte man es allerdings vermeiden mit dem Auto anzureisen. Und dann Pasquale: ein Vermieter wie man ihn sich nur erträumen kann. Sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend und lieb. Man fühlt sich gut betreut und umsorgt und er ist immer erreichbar. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen !

En dryg vecka i Tropea

Boendet låg mycket bra till i Tropeas äldre stadskärna, men inte direkt intill någon av de största turiststråken. På 1 min tar man sig till trapporna som går nerför stadens klippor mot stranden. Enda nackdelarna var en del ljud om kvällarna och att lägenheten var varm. Värden gav oss en fläkt som hjälpte om nätterna. När vi först anlände slogs vi av hur vacker ingången var, att lägenheten är del av ett gammalt "palazzo" från 1700-talet och av det höga taket i vardagsrum/kök. Plus för att man kunde tvätta salta handdukar.

Living in a palace...

The apartment is spacious, very well located. There is basically everything you need during your holiday. The kitchen is well equipped. But the main advantage is the host Very nice guy, no problem with contact, helpful. He took care of the transfer to the airport in the early morning hours. I highly recommend staying in this apartment.

Wat een prachtig appartement! Gelegen in een karakteristiek palazzo in een rustig gedeelte van het oude gezellige centrum van Tropea. Pasquale is een leuke vriendelijke gastheer, allemaal vers fruit in de koelkast, en op de eerste dag kwam hij zelfs flessen water brengen zodat wij niet hoefden te sjouwen. Met diverse restaurants in de directe omgeving heeft hij een mooie prijsafspraak gemaakt voor zijn gasten, en dat zijn dan niet de touristtraps, maar echt goede restaurants waar je persoonlijk wordt ontvangen en waar krijgt voor je geld. Je kunt heerlijk dwalen door de kleine steegjes van de oude stad. Aan het eind van het pleintje kun je met de trap naar beneden, en kom je bij het mooie strand. Supermarktje, koffiebarretje en ijssalons in de buurt. Leuke uitstapjes gemaakt naar Pizzo, Zungri en Capo Vaticano. Een echte aanrader! In de hoogzomer moet je hier waarschijnlijk niet zijn, veels te druk en warm, maar het oktoberzonnetje was perfect. Pasquale mille grazie!

Prachtig, ruim, comfortabel appartement op toplocatie!

Wij verbleven in juli/augustus 2 weken in appartement Martina en het is ontzettend goed bevallen. Mede dankzij eigenaar Pasquale die erg gastvrij en behulpzaam was (o.a. met regelen van taxi van en naar luchthaven) en ons verraste met lekkers. Het appartement is nog mooier dan op de foto's en erg ruim met mooie hoge plafonds. Zelfs in deze warme maanden was het er niet te warm. We kijken terug op een fijne, relaxte vakantie.

Appartamento molto spazioso. Ottima collocazione.

All'arrivo a Tropea il Sig. Pasquale ci ha accolti con cordialita'. Ad attenderci nell'appartamento un cesto di frutta fresca e una bottiglia di acqua fredda, molto graditi. L'appartamento e' grande, spazioso, fornito di cio' che occorre. E' abbastanza vicino ad una bella spiaggia- bisogna scendere per poi risalire 196 gradini - ma fattibili (se riesco a farli io!!!). E' vicino al centro molto pittoresco, con tante viuzze, bar e ristoranti. Il negozio alimentare e' a portata di mano e tutti sono molto gentili e cordiali. Siamo arrivati solo da due giorni, ma siamo sicuri che ci dispiacera' ripartire.
