Just an hour away are Venice, Padua, Vicenza, Belluno, Feltre; many of these places are also connected by train, just choose the departure station, the closest are the train stations of Cornuda, Montebelluna or Castelfranco Veneto). Half an hour from Bassano del Grappa (famous for the Old Bridge and for being the town of 'Grappa' the liquor) and Castelfranco Veneto. Possagno, the home of Canova, the neoclassical sculptor with the Gipsoteca and the Tomb. Also to visit and not miss 'Villa Maser' of the architect Vincenzo Palladio in Maser. Continuing towards Altivole, the monumental 'Brion Tomb' in the outlying administrative district of San Vito is worthy of mention: it is an architectural masterpiece by Carlo Scarpa and stands in the little cemetery of the village; at Altivole, on the other hand, the obligatory stop is the Barco della Regina Cornaro complex, the country residence of the former Queen of Cyprus Caterina Cornaro at the end of the Fifteenth century.
