Charming stay at Vitiano

At our arrival in Vitiano we experienced a warm welcome by Ana and Georgio. They gave us a brief tour of the house, Georgio was there early every morning for quitly cleaning the well maintained pool and watering the plants in the very spacious garden. We loved our 18 day stay very much, the house has a lot of caracter, was well equiped and the hosts where ecxellent, they even spoiled us with wine and "Dolce" during our stay. Thank you Anna and Georgio to make our holiday remarkeble. Warm greetings from Frans and Gerda xxx

lovely house where the Italian atmosphere has been preserved. clean and tidy very nice location, large garden with a nice clean swimming pool. the beds are wonderful and clean. every chamberlains bathroom. enough seats in the garden. bbq available and pizza oven. the owners are very friendly and helpful. But what we found most important is that they respected our privacy.

Vacation in Umbrie

We had a very nice holiday. The wether was sime days rainy, som days dry. The house was a house from a fairy tale. Apart, and so many to see in the house. We loved it so much. Anna and her husband will do everything to make you feel welcome. The garden is very big with several seats. The swimmingpool looked nice, the weather was not nice, so we did not used it.

A dream come true

At 54 and surviving a corporate career of travel I can be a bit skeptical but this Villa experience was amazing! Nothing short of amazing. I woke to the light breeze and fragrance of roses blowing through my room. My mother and I shared coffee on the veranda with the dance of swallows. The cooking class with Anna & Sergio was a highlight of the trip. Don’t waste your money anywhere else. There is an outdoor covered Bldg with a real pizza oven. Have Anna & Sergio come and show you a true brick oven experience. It is an easy drive to Cortona or Arezzo to catch a train for a day trip to Rome or Firenze ( Florence) The PRADA outlet is a 45 min drive. The Conrad grocery store in Trestina is a 15 min drive and has a great deli/bakery. We loved the Villa. We were safe and it felt like a dream come true. If you only get to do Italy once make this your base. The swimming pool is beautiful and Sergio provided floats. Ciao

Fabulous

Anna and Sergio are the perfect hosts- friendly very kind and do everything to make you feel at home and comfortable. The garden with so many seats/tables and possibilities to sit in the sun or shade are great! The pool is amazing and you can also relax on sunbeds or sit in the shade. It’s great that each bedroom has it’s own bathroom. That is ideal to have privacy. The property is huge and well kept. Sergio made the wood fired pizza oven ready for us and we hade a fun night cooking our own pizza’s in the wooden oven. They tasted even better than the really good pizza’s down in the village. One night we used the possibility of the private cook since with a child (2 years) eating out at night was no possibility for us. The kitchen is very well utilized too. We had a big italian meal it’s been very very good and we enjoyed all left overs the day after. The pictures of the house are very old and do the house no justice. It’s a fantastic house for 6 adults and a child.You need a car because the nearest bigger supermarket is 10 km away. We’ve been visiting nice places in the neighborhood (1hrs drive away) We can only recommend this fantastic very clean and spacious property with the best hosts you can wish!! Sergio comes in every day really early and quietly to maintain the garden and pool. Oh, and we harvested delicious tomatoes from the vegetable garden, too. We’ve had a perfect vacation with the family and thank Anna and Sergio very much!!

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, Check-in, schnell und unkompliziert! Der Pool wurde jeden Tag diskret gereinigt. Es gab ein Willkommenspaket im Haus und einen Tag etwas Gebäck. Wir haben im Garten gegrillt und den Pizzaofen genutzt. Die Kinder freuten sich zudem an der Tischtennisplatte und dass sie sich im Garten frei bewegen konnten, da der Pool eingezäunt und der Zugang von uns abgesperrt werden könnte. Betten waren bequem und es war im Haus und Garten sehr sehr sauber. Es war ein toller Aufenthalt.

Mooi huis met heerlijke tuin

Het is een heel mooi huis en alles is aanwezig. De tuin met het zwembad zijn heerlijk en alles word goed onderhouden. De eigenaren zijn zeer behulpzaam en erg vriendelijk en komen dagelijks even kijken bij het zwembad en stonden altijd voor je klaar als er iets was. Het is. Rust, ruimte, veel privacy en comfort. Geweldig lieve eigenaren.

Villa Vitiano ligt op de grens van Umbria en Toscana in een bos- en heuvelrijk gebied. Het is een klassiek Italiaans huis met 3 slaapkamers, ieder met een eigen badkamer met douche, toilet en bidet; een ruime eetkeuken, een eetkamer, een zit/TV kamer en een wasmachineruimte. Niet klassiek Italiaans: alles werkt! De grote tuin is geheel omheind en door het vele groen zit je volledig vrij; het zwembad is nog apart afgescheiden. Kleine kinderen en honden kunnen dus vrij rondlopen (en de wilde dieren blijven buiten). De eigenaren wonen in het dorpje beneden, zijn schatten van mensen en bieden je volledige privacy. Als je vragen of problemen heb, kan je ze bellen. Bij aankomst was alles wat je in begin nodig hebt aanwezig. Er zijn wekelijks schone handdoeken en lakens. Wij willen zeker nog eens terugkomen.

Beautiful place

We hadden een fijne tijd in casa Vitiano. Het huis is oud en het is traditioneel ingericht. Het was erg warm (39 graden) dus we waren erg blij met de ventilators boven de bedden en het heerlijke zwembad. De bedden zijn prima en de eigenaars hadden alles goed geregeld om het zo goed mogelijk naar de zin te maken

Unangekündigte Besuche

Schönes Objekt, sehr sauber und auch die Außenanlage lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Leider funktionierte der Backofen im Haus nicht. Wir haben in den ein oder anderen Kommentaren im Vorfeld gelesen dass der Eigentümer morgens kommt zum Pool sauber machen. Leider ist es jedoch nicht dabei geblieben und er kam mehrfach unterm Tag. Dabei ist leider negativ hervorzuheben, dass er und seine Frau am letzten Abend um 22:45 Uhr im Objekt aufgetaucht sind und laute arbeiten verrichtet haben, obwohl fast alle im Haus schliefen auch die Kinder. Die Gastfreundschaft ist allerdings typisch italienisch, man hatte ein „Willkommenskörbchen“ mit Essen und Trinken und man durfte sich im hauseigenen Garten an den angebauten Früchten und dem Gemüse bedienen.

Die Gäste waren freundlich, höflich und respektvoll gegenüber dem Haus und den Dingen. Der Elektroherd funktioniert, die Funktionen wurden nicht angepasst. Sie mussten uns trotzdem anrufen.

Et si le paradis existait…

Au milieu des montagnes, dans un magnifique paysage, une belle maison en pierres, un vaste jardin arboré aménagé pour le confort de chacun et une grande piscine, le tout environné de villes toutes plus superbes les unes que les autres. Et puis Cécilia et sa maman, au bar du village, qui vous accueillent chaleureusement pour le petit déjeuner… et enfin nos propriétaires, charmants, souriants, toujours prêts à nous aider.

Vacanza da sogno nelle montagne dell’Umbria

I bambini si sono divertiti molto ogni giorno nel grande giardino e nella fantastica piscina. Il giardino aveva anche un barbecue e molte possibilità di mangiare all’aperto. Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche il forno a legna per la pizza. Anna e Sergio ci hanno accolto molto gentilmente dopo un lungo viaggio e ci hanno persino preparato un pacchetto di benvenuto. La casa era molto pulita, arredata con cura e dotata di una cucina molto ben attrezzata.

Phantastischer erholsamer Urlaub

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das ganze Grundstück und das Haus waren wie man sich es für einen typischen Italienurlaub vorstellt. Bei Nachfragen war Sergio sofort vor Ort. Der Pool wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Es gab Überraschungspetifours und für die Kinder Süßes. Ein Begrüßungskorb mit Brot, Wein und PASTA. Vielen Dank liebe Anna, lieber Sergio für den tollen Urlaub.

Wir waren begeistert von dem Objekt. Gelände, Pool und Haus waren perfekt. Komplett eingezäunt, so dass der Hund frei laufen konnte. Pool wurde jeden Morgen diskret gereinigt.

Great vacation, very relaxing and private

Everything was great and we especially enjoyed the pool which we had all to ourselves. Very nice and helpful hosts that above and beyond what can be expected - thanks for everything! The property is very private and secluded a bit up in the mountains. The house, the garden, and the pool were spacious (very clean!) and we enjoyed all of it. We highly recommend it and will come again.
