Corsican authentic village stone house renovated in early 2007 with a 70 m2 terrace of entirely shady by an six hundred year old tree . Located in the centre of the village, the view is panoramic on the Gulf of Saint-Florent and Cape Corsica. Summer kitchen equipped in an typical bread oven. At 350 meters of altitude, in summer, the evenings and the nights are especially pleasant. Heated swimming pool (free) and tennis(paying) to 100 meters and many other outdoor activities (windsurfing, sailing, snorkelling, diving, walking, biking, ...). Half-board possibility. (still under construction).

Séjour parfait

Belle maison traditionnelle mais confortable dans un petit village de montagne proche de Saint Florent. Accueil sympathique. J'ai beaucoup apprécié de pouvoir acheter les produits du village: charcuterie, fromages et vin. Le maquis en juin est magnifique, très vert et odorant... Séjour parfait, à recommander!!!!

Very good!

Nice and authentic house in a little village in proximity of Saint-Florent and Bastia. The house is fully equipped. The public swimming pool of the village is really close by. Also a very good restaurant is situated in the village. Rapale is a good base for discovering Cap Corse and some very nice beaches.

Un agréable séjour au cœur de la Corse

Nous avons rejoint le village de Rapale après être arrivés au port de Bastia le matin, et la première surprise fut la belle petite route menant au village qui offre des vues panoramiques sur la mer ainsi que sur les collines Corses. Le stationnement est facile, juste en face de la maison, et permet de décharger ses valises sans aucun problème, avant de découvrir cette maison typique et bien entretenue. Spacieuse, elle ne manque pas de commodités pour passer un agréable séjour. Découvrir un tel havre de paix pour des citadins comme nous fut une réelle bouffée d'oxygène, grâce au voisinage calme et au traffic quasiment inexistant. Bien que relativement petit, le village offre des activités intéressantes tel qu'une piscine, un terrain de tennis et un restaurant (le "i fratelli") que l'on recommande pour déguster des plats traditionnels Corses. Le positionnement du village permet de rejoindre rapidement (moins d'une demie heure) les plages ainsi que la ville de Saint Florent, qui est très agréable à visiter. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Maison et village très agreable a Rapale

Je prends quelques instants pour vous faire part de notre séjour l'été dernier dans votre maison de Rapale. En premier lieu, nous avons été subjugué par la montée qui nous emmène de Bastia jusqu'en haut du col par cette petite route (nommée le défilé du Lancone) escarpée à flanc de montagne. Que dire de l'arrivée dans ce magnifique petit village de Rapale où nous avons été accueilli de manière forte agréable par les habitants (il est d'ailleurs rare de croiser d'autres touristes car très peu de maisons sont à louer). Nos 4 enfants ont adorés les chambres à l'étage et la maison est très agréable en générale. Il ne nous a rien manqué. Et même le boulanger passe devant la maison, il suffit de déposer son sac avec la liste et l'argent la veille, une totale confiance si rare de nos jours. Se reposer à l'ombre du chêne est très apaisant. Nous sommes allés au bal du 15 août et nous nous sommes senti corse jusqu'au bout de la nuit... Après avoir vanté les qualités de votre maison, du village et de la région à mes parents, c'est donc à leur tour (avec leurs amis) d'aller faire des sorties de vélo, et des randonnées à Rapale cet été. A bientôt.

A perfect home to enjoy a very relaxing holiday!

n June 2014, we stayed two weeks in this beautiful house. We are a family with 3 children (6, 8 and 12 years old). Immediately after the arrival we knew that it was the right choice: - beautiful, typical village – far enough (but not too far) away from the touristic centres - lovely old house with some nice features like wall cupboards and slatted shutters, - cosy children rooms in the attic We also loved the terrace with the old tree and we used it nearly every day for breakfast and dinner. The new and clean pool in the village is a 2 minutes walk away, the next beach is 15-20 minutes by car. This house was the perfect home for us to enjoy a very relaxing holiday in one of the most beautiful islands in Europe. Thanks you to C., our local contact, and D. for the warm welcome and all the support!

Tranquillité d'antan

Nous avons trouvé l'entourage parfait. Le village est plein de charme et tranquillité. Il est très petit mais il a an excellent restaurant. La description sur le site est précise et correcte. La maison es très confortable. Les personnes en charge de la maison ont été très amiables. Le bilan c'est donc, positif, nous recommandons ce maison pour quelques journées de tranquille repos a la campagne corse
