Belle propriété, spacieuse, très grands espaces intérieurs et extérieurs, idéale pour des vacances entre adultes ( ce qui était notre cas). Chambres avec literies impeccables, 2 SDB, 3 toilettes dont 1 appelé les toilettes d'Harry Potter ( à découvrir:)). On a aimé parcourir la région, ballades dans des gorges, visites de châteaux et le fameux festival d'Aurillac.

emplacement et demeure magnifique! mais il ne faut pas trop le dire....

promenades dans le coin....Baignades au barrage, ballade en montagne....Tout cela en famille.... cette année pas de visites touristiques mais nous connaissons très bien la région dont nous sommes originaires, ce qui nous a permis de retrouver nos amis également.

A little too faded for me!

A fine old building with splendid views and large garden, both structure and fittings in a state of decay. There was a major infestation of flies in the bedrooms as of Oct 2019. Nowhere comfortable to sit indoors except the kitchen.

La vie de château

Excellent séjour dans ce manoir idéalement situé dans les vallons avec une superbe vue sur le Puy Griou entre autre. La dimension des pièces et leur ameublement d'autrefois très confortable a permis a plusieurs générations d'une famille de vivre en harmonie dans un espace que nous n'avons plus l'habitude d'avoir. son calme et son charme des maisons de famille nous ont enchantés

Manoir fabuleux dans un parc privé

Monsieur Sarret à réservé un accueil chaleureux à nous. Dés le premier moment nous nous avons senti chomme chez des amis. Les chambres étaient spacieuses avec trés bons lits pour deux personnes. La calme nous faisait très bien dormir. Vivre dans ce chateau a été un moment magnifique. Nous voudrions recommander cette maison a nos amis. Grand merci pour toute votre gentillesse!

Wonderful relaxing holidays

We stayed at the Manoir du Prieur from 11th of June to 2nd of July. At once we were fascinated by the place, when we first approached the Manoir via the driveway through the fields. We felt being beamed into a Disney like world with its chateaux. The interior is full of atmosphere with the huge fireplaces, antique furniture and other decoration. On the other hand there is wifi and mobile reception, so that you are not totally isolated. There is the distant chime of cowbells of the Salers cattle, never disturbing, but a melodious background to the whole scene and so much different from the hustle and bustle of a big city. The parkland around the house invites you to walks, the views out of the bedrooms on the first floor are peaceful and relaxing with beautiful sunrise and sunset. The huge Wellingtonia in the garden in front of the house is a real sight. Aurillac, some 15 minutes away by car, is ideal for shopping, there are all kinds of supermarkets and the much nearer Jussac also offers a smaller supermarket with cheap petrol. So everything is quite handy. The Manoir can be seen as the starting point for many interesting excursions into the mountains and to picturesque towns with their colourful markets. The choice of cheeses is tremendous. All in all the ideal place to get away from stress and hectic life. The owners were very friendly and helpful , so we fully enjoyed our stay and hope to come back in the not too far away future.

Live in your own chateau!

You'll certainly enjoy the spacious rooms, the comfortable beds, the beautiful furniture and carpets. Don't forget, though, that you'll have to pay for heating if you go when it's cold. The kitchen is very well-equipped and you can rustle up great feasts to enjoy after visiting fairy-tale towns, walking in the luxuriant, volcanic countryside of the Cantal or just sitting in the sun in the spacious grounds. Don’t miss Salers and Conques.

C'est la maison qui a attiré notre attention et nous n'avons pas été déçus ! L'atmosphère du lieu transporte dans une autre époque et le calme qui y règne est particulièrement appréciable. Le château a lui seul vaut le déplacement ! Il est aussi beau que le cadre naturel dans lequel il s'insère. Les enfants apprécieront le grand espace et les nombreux animaux à proximité (vaches, ânes, chevaux, milans tournoyant dans la vallée). La région est également très belle, propice aux visites touristiques, culinaires et aux promenades.
