First time we've ever stayed someplace that was more wonderful than the pictures. It is such a beautiful piece of property in a beautiful area and the house is beautiful too! We loved the layout, the porches, and well... Just everything! It was such a blessing for our family and just what we needed!

Our family of 6 adults and 3 young children enjoyed our weekend visit to Apple Hill Lodge. The Nana-Wall in the living room was an awesome bonus to the living area, and the boathouse was a special treat as well. Jim was an excellent host and made us feel right at home. We hope to book this wonderful property again for a future visit to this area.

This beautiful home on Lake Summit was perfect for our multi-generational family trip. I can't say enough good things about it: immaculate, comfortable furnishings, well-equipped, and that serene lake view! The NanaWall that opens to the screen porch, and the boathouse are special extras you just don't see very often.Jim was an excellent host, very friendly and responsive. We would definitely book a stay here again.

This was the perfect spot for our combined family trip! The bunk room has everything needed for the kids and it is all beautiful and very well-equipped. Talking with the host was so nice and pleasant. We loved everything about our trip!

There is plenty to do in the area around the home without having to drive anywhere: fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, biking and hiking. It is a great place for multi-generations to stay. We love it.

Rain or shine any time of the year this is a wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing week at Lake Summit. Our dog had too much fun spending days swimming off the dock. There are too many thoughtful touches to the house to list. We hope to return for another stay, as we also fell in love with the nearby town of Flat Rock.

This was our second time staying at this gorgeous home. The home was even more beautiful than we remember when we were here November of 2025. We made so many new memories that will last a lifetime!
