Beautiful large mountain home at the top of Caesars Head (3100ft elevation) offers incredible views of Table Rock, and long-range Blue Ridge views into miles of protected mountains, considered the most famous view in South Carolina! Beautiful, short drive into Brevard, NC and Hendersonville, NC and 45 minutes to Downtown Greenville, SC. Recent updates including: New carpet, new dining room table and chairs, new gas grill, repaved driveway with attractive river rock, updated screened porch. Built to accommodate and entertain large groups, yet intimate enough for small gatherings. Located in a small, private, historic mountain community, surrounded by thousands of acres of beautiful hiking trails and waterfalls. Easy access in and out. Attractions within a short drive include golf, great shopping, fine dining, as well as some of the finest artist’s studios and galleries in the country. Recently updated paint and furnishings.
The kitchen is completely equipped for gourmet entertaining, and is open to a dining room (seats 10-12) and a large living room with beautiful rock fireplace that leads to expansive covered/screened porches and outdoor entertaining. Most folks spend the majority of their time on the porch with the incredible view.
Our home sleeps 13 with a large master suite on main floor (handicap access). On the second floor (lower level) there are 5 bedrooms, 3 with queens, and two with twin beds.
Our renters come back year after year and you won’t be disappointed.
Our home is walking distance trail heads of miles of moderate to strenuous level hiking trails. Also, within walking distance is the Caesar's Head State Park with amazing overlook to incredible views and a State Park store.

Fabulous Mountain Retreat!

We loved our time in the Caesars Head Community! Our family enjoyed exploring the area via hiking, trail running and mountain biking in the surrounding parks and recreation areas. This home is very welcoming and has gorgeous views! Book it- you will be very happy!

Wedding Trip Rental Home

My oldest daughter was married at The Pretty Place Chapel and this house was perfect for my entire family to stay as we attend and celebrated with her. Plenty of room and an absolute beautiful view of the mountains. WE LOVED IT!!! Check this place out, you wont be sorry.

This property is perfect for staying in for a long weekend or weeks. Everything you need is there. Kitchen is totally equipped. There are plenty of bedrooms and linens. The porch makes it a most relaxing get away.

Girls Weekend!

We took a group of 7 girls that are all retired and went to high school together. This was the perfect house for a bigger group. Great layout, decor, and perfect space. It was so peaceful and relaxing!!! We will definitely go back!

Tom was very attentive throughout our stay. He checked in with us by text and responded quickly when we had a question about something. The house was great for our group, 2 big screened in patios, a giant kitchen, lots of seating, and the view was priceless. It was one of our favorite trips ever! So grateful!

Enjoyed the view and quiet getaway!

So glad we made it back to this beautiful property for a few days of cooler weather and quality time together. The house was clean and well organized. We immediately found ourselves on the back porch after we arrived. Went to the grocery store once and did a day trip to Asheville. Thank you Tom for the warm welcome and such a smooth rental process. We hope to return for another visit.

Mountain House

House has excellent views, but the screens interfere with picture taking from porch. Get to close and it distorts the image. Relaxing, No TV in Master Bedroom. (Not that it is needed) Kitchen is very well equipped. Comfortable beds. We will definitely stay again. 15 minutes away from "Pretty Place".

Perfect for our family vacation

Fantastic location for our family aged 12 to seniors. Pool access was a highlight for many of our group. Best equipped kitchen of any rentals we have used in recent years. Only thing we missed was a regular toaster as counter top oven did not have a toaster setting. Our group of 10 really liked the table for 10 on the deck and of course the view was fantastic. Many options for hiking close by and State Park Visitors Center within walking distance. Large grocery stores are a distance away so pays to plan accordingly. Our week here gave us many good family memories. Owner very accessible and responsive.

Amazing place. Amazing view. Amazing experience!

This is our second visit and, once again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is very spacious, with wonderful spaces for relaxing, whether on the large porches with panoramic views or in the cozy living area by the fire. The bedrooms were perfect for our family of seven. Our five sons loved having their own space in the large bedrooms downstairs. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need and the adjacent grilling is a plus. The house was a perfect place to relax but we also enjoyed the short drive to Brevard, the Coontree Picnic Area and Swimming Hole along the Davidson River , and hiking at Graveyard Fields along the Blue Ridge Parkway. We love this place and are sure to return!

This is a great place for a group. Large, fully stocked kitchen. Table seats up to 12 easily. Lots of books, games & puzzles to entertain all ages. View from the screened porch is amazing as are the numerous waterfalls not far away. We took day trips to downtown Greenville and Brevard. The Bohemian Restaurant in Brevard is great. Found a neat pottery place, Mud Dabbers, on the way into Brevard, about 4 miles outside of town. I would definitely recommend renting this house.

Wonderful retreat spot for extended family time

It’s a beautiful location, if you don’t mind lots of curvy roads to get there! The porch is amazing with the Mountain View. I loved having the big tables inside and outside that accommodated our whole group in one spot for eating and playing games.

5 Stars – Perfect Family Getaway!

We stayed at this beautiful home with our family and kids, and it was absolutely perfect! The house is spacious, clean, and incredibly well-maintained. The layout was ideal for our group, offering plenty of room for everyone to relax without feeling crowded.The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare family meals, and we loved dining together on the patio with those amazing views. The kids especially enjoyed the pool and the large outdoor space—it kept them entertained for hours!The location is fantastic—peaceful yet close enough to shops, restaurants, and activities. Mountain Christmas

This was a perfect property for our close-knit family of 9 adults and two small children. The main floor has generous seating for both meals and for gathering. The mountain views through the sliding glass doors and from the large back porch were beautiful. The nearby hiking and neighborhood walking, along with a playground, suited our family well.

The perfect, relaxing spot

I almost don’t want to share how great this place is, so we can keep the secret within our family! The house has everything you need to cook, a nice keurig (bring some purified bottled water for it) and the most amazing porch. We spent most of our time on the porch, reading and doing puzzles. Everyone had their own space to spread out and there was even a baby gate to downstairs for our newly crawling baby to safely get around. Hope to be back soon!

Wonderful House in the Trees

Caesars Head is one of our families favorite places to visit and this house is perfect. Sits high on the mountain with an amazing view, even in the rain/clouds. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Huge porch for enjoying cocktails, dinner and game time. We ventured into Brevard and Pisgah to see Looking Glass Falls, Hike Moore Cove Falls and let the kids go down sliding rock. The next day we went to Dupont Forest and hiked around, many great hikes and waterfalls. Don't miss the few retail /food spots in Cedar Mtn. Cedar Mtn Outpost is a great stop. You will not be disappointed with the house, bring some books and games or borrow the ones they have. It will be a great vacation!

Our family has had a presence at Caesar's Head for close to 100 years, having owned most of the mountain (2000 acres) and the historic Caesars Head Hotel (burned in 1954) for many years. Our current extended family shares time in this cherished place. We hope you love it as much as we do. I happen to be a licensed Broker in the state of SC; and I manage our family home.

Why they chose this property

This special spot was chosen for our 'new' family home because of its view and private location. We designed our home to allow the maximum view potential for most of the rooms in the house as well as a floor plan that was conducive to what we all wanted...an open floor plan where we could all interact.

What makes this property unique

Expansive, open kitchen with tons of counter space. Large screened porch with dining area. Light and bright. Easy walk to Caesars Head State Park, trails, etc...or just a stroll in the neighborhood.
