About the host
Hosted by Helena Hurrell

This is a photo taken in May 2014 on the day that we completed the formal purchase (through a modern day miracle!) of this wonderful property from our dear friends who lovingly created this home and ADU rental with their own hands in 2007. Gratitude abounds that this happened only a month after moving back to Carbondale from the UK!
Edward is a retired business consultant/administrator and his passion throughout his entire life has always been to foster conscious awareness. For the past 35 years Helena has been an educator and has worked therapeutically with artistic processes individually and in group settings. Most recently she has been fortunate to bring Metal Color Light Therapy Glass panels from Germany to Colorado and is currently providing this healing modality to the community in the Valley.

Why they chose this property
We moved to Carbondale to be close to the warmth of our large family and friends, many connected to the Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork. This is a place to simply be, to nourish one's sense of wonder ~ creativity ~ peace ~ and curiosity. We love our new property and are looking forward to welcoming many visitors to Carbondale!
