About this property
Sunny, Spacious & Central: Fedora
Experience the comfort and luxury of a hotel combined with the personal touches and charm of a private home. The Fedora is a junior suite with loads of eclectic charm in our lovingly restored Hudson Milliner Boutique Guesthouse. Built in 1860, the building was once used as a milliner's hat shop, and we have preserved many of its original details such as solid mahogany stairwells, stunning pocket doors with etched glass, and gorgeous hardwood floors.
The suite features a sunny bedroom, an eat-in kitchen, a walk-in closet, and a gorgeous, abundantly-spaced bathroom with a clawfoot tub and double sinks. Oversized windows flood the rooms with light and the 14-foot ceilings feature exposed original beams. A curated selection of locally sourced antique furniture and meticulously restored mid-century appliances meet modern convenciences such as central AC and heating, high-speed internet, blue-tooth speakers, a building-wide water filtration system, and access to washer/dryer. Special touches include bespoke fixtures made by reclaimed industrial materials, decorative floor tiles of our own design, and original artwork by us and our talented friends. Washer and dryer are available on a separate floor.
All guests have access to our beautiful covered greenhouse courtyard, a lovely space to enjoy your morning coffee, get work done, or indulge in a glass of wine. You can also use the BBQ to grill up a family dinner.
You won't need a car, as we're a 10-minute walk away from the train station. For guests who arrive by car, free street parking is available. If you have trouble finding a spot, we offer a private parking space for $30 per night. Guests will have sole access to their kitchen, bathroom, sleeping and living area. Our guests privacy is most important to us.
Hudson Milliner is centrally located on the 400 block of Warren Street in Hudson. You have a great selection of restaurants, incredible antique stores, coffee shops, local pubs, as well as live music venues within walking distance. A nature walk just north of Hudson in the reserve is just a bike- or car ride away. A little further away are our personal favorites Bash Bish Falls and Kaaterskill Falls. If you are interested in Skiing during the winter we are 40 minutes or less away from 3 different ski resorts!

So gracious and friendly - I felt like I was a house guest! Perfect location for walking and shops also vrry safe secure parking. I will definitely stay again!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The unit presented exactly as advertised. It was squeaky clean and well appointed. The location is GREAT! A good spot to hang out in Hudson...walk to everything, or a home base for great hiking or other excursions. The hostess and were friendly and very helpful, quick to respond, and provided lots of local information for where to go and what to do. Will stay again when visiting again in the Fall.
My partner and I got married back in Hudson last Spring and stayed at this lovely property. Charlotta and her husband couldn’t have been more welcoming, helpful and just kind. You could feel the amazing energy as soon as you walk through the door. The room was like stepping back in time and an easy escape from the modern world.
As artists ourselves, we were instantly inspired and I got right to work on several new projects. We loved it so much we returned in the Fall with the same reception.
Look no further, this is the place to stay. Can not recommend it enough.
What a wonderful, restful time my wife and I had at the Milliner in Hudson! Such a beautiful, historic building. We were transported back to a simpler time, listened to music from the 1940’s all weekend, and enjoyed the wonderful shops and restaurants up and down Warren Street.
The owners are fantastic people and totally welcoming.
The apartment was adorable and spacious. Two story walk-up. Wood, brick, and windows. Right in the center of Warren Street. Modern thermostat made temperature control a breeze, the shower pressure was spectacular, and the kitchen table was a great place to sit and be. Also had a great sound system you could connect your iPhone to through Bluetooth. Sounded perfect!
MUSTS on Warren:
LITTLE RICO’S
AWESOME FOOD AND SMOOTHIES!!! Two seconds up the street, and you can place your order online at 8 AM and go pick it up. Friendliest service. Great menu.
POURED CANDLE BAR
15 minute walk up the street. My wife and I had SO MUCH FUN! You make your own candle, and every step is fun. They also have drinks and light snacks. Again, so fun! And the best smelling candles we have ever burned in our homes—ever.
THE MAKER
Okay. So you have to really impress your wife/girlfriend at least once on a getaway, right? This is the place. When making reservations, make sure you choose the “conservatory.” This room will astound you. Great Italian food.
LA MISION
Same direction as Poured Candle Bar, but a bit closer. Great Mexican food.
Perfect trip!!!
This is one of my all time favorite getaways The Hudson Milliner is a very special place. A beautifully restored historic building with beautiful art and vintage pieces. Centrally located on Warren street where restaurants and stores are steps away. Our first visit to Hudson and we were made so welcome by Shannon and Charlotta who were very generous and kind to take the time to give great recommendations for restaurants and what was happening in town. Charlotta also helped with a parking spot in the lot for us. There is also easy street parking. We stayed in the Fedora and it was spotlessly clean, quiet and has all the amenities in the kitchen if you choose to stay in and cook. We highly recommend it!
My second stay. The Hudson Milliner will always be my choice when I head upstate. Charming, roomy. Perfect aesthetics!

Everything and more
Our recent stay in Hudson provided us with a room that was everything we were looking for and more. Safe and secure, beautifully restored, spacious rooms, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, the world's most comfortable bed and a view of the street. The owners service and response times were both excellent. Would definitely return.

Perfect location. Dreamy interior.
This was a wonderful weekend getaway. As centrally located as you can get, we were a short walk to great food, shopping, the river. The owner was amazingly responsive (the smoke detector battery was chirping when we arrived and a quick email to her had it resolved.) She provided us with great suggestions via email, including parking tips. The space itself is so well appointed- just designed with a great aesthetic. The high ceilings made it feel really spacious. I wouldn’t hesitate rebooking this property for another trip to Hudson.

Peaceful getaway spot custom made for curling up with a book
I booked the Cloche suite to unplug from work and enjoy a few books. It was lovely and charming, with well chosen pieces and artwork from the owners adding the right amount of edge. The bed was cozy, and let me rest my sleep deprived self in comfort. The kitchen was well equipped, and I made all of my meals in. The welcome email was comprehensive and an excellent love letter to Hudson and all it offers. I extended my stay for a day, and look forward to heading up again soon for another retreat and more massages from Bodhi Spa and Yoga. Bonus points for being an easily walkable distance from the train station if you don’t plan on heading out for more distant hikes and excursions around the area. While I didn’t meet Charlotta, she was quick to respond, and I do hope to make her acquaintance on my next visit.

Nice, centrally located space
The room and the Hudson Milliner more generally were both a really nice space with a mixture of tasteful retro architectural and decorative touches. The building itself is located right on Warren street among many art and antiques galleries, restaurants, and shops. Charlotta was also very helpful in recommending places to see and to dine at, several of which we ended up visiting and really enjoying. Overall a great experience! P.S. bring your eye masks because the room is very sunny in the early morning!

Artful Hudson hideaway
This stylish apartment on the second floor of a converted hat company was spacious and comfortable for a long weekend exploring Hudson and its hinterlands.
Pros: high ceilings, natural light, sleek and stylish fittings with intriguing art. Accommodating host and clean, comfortable digs. Excellent location on Warren Street, Hudson's main drag. Useful wi-fi and a fun Bluetooth speaker tower to play your tunes.
Cons: Light-blocking curtains needed for restful slumber as a street lamp is right outside. A lack of shelves in the bathroom mean no place but the dining table to leave more than a couple toiletries. Cool-looking vintage Philco refrigerator is extremely loud when it switches on.

Charming inn in the center of shops in Hudson
This was the perfect place for my boyfriend and I over a long weekend. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we loved the antique furniture and kitchen appliances - it was a nice touch! The booking process was super easy, and we had to get in touch with the owners a couple of times and they were extremely responsive (we had questions on operating the heat). It was in the middle of Warren St, where all the shops and restaurants are located!
We would definitely recommend.

Amazing home, in the heart of Hudson!
My BF and I spent a weekend here, our first time in Hudson as a short escape from the city. Hudson is a beautiful, quaint town, and Charlotta's home exceeded our expectations. The apartment is spacious, well-appointed, and beautifully decorated. Charlotta was super helpful with recommendations for local activities and also with helping us navigate the wonky Hudson parking rules! We loved our stay, and definitely plan to come back!

Perfect weekend getaway/hideaway :)
It was everything I hoped it would be! The bed was super comfy. Adequate supplies in the kitchen for some simple meals. The bed was awesome. Slept like royalty. Big windows with a lovely view of Warren St. No complaints. If you know hudson there is tons of great stuff near by. Fish & Game is awesome. Talbott & Arding is the best place for cheese, meats, and all sorts of prepared goodies.
I'll be back again and would recommend this room to friends and family for sure.
Thanks Hudson Milliner,

The Hudson Milliner is a beautifully decorated and appointed property. The room had everything we needed from a bluetooth stereo to a full kitchen. WE couldn't have been happier and more comfortable. Like home away from home.

Really good, could be great
The room was large and they were wonderful to accommodate a small dog. I would say, though, the room (and space overall) was less than completely clean in some spots and some key things (ie., shower head, cold tap in the bathroom sink) did not seem to function..
Overall, a great space but more attention to some details would make it even bettern
The location of this space is perfect for a stay in Hudson, just don't park on the street over night unless you want a ticket.

Great location and beautiful space
We stayed here, in the Cloche room, in October. When we walked in...wow! Amazing space...beautiful, funky, bright, spacious and all around not your standard hotel stay. The location couldn't be better, right in the middle of Warren Street with an incredible number of restaurants, bars, and stores well within walking distance. Charlotta was amazing, sending an incredibly detailed and thoughtful list of places to go and things to try while in the area. It was so nice coming back to what felt more like a home then a hotel every night. We were also very pleasantly surprised that the noise was pretty low considering all the rooms have wood floors. There was a heavy walker above us but it didn't cause any issues and other than hearing that a couple of times we didn't hear anything else so noise really wasn't at all an issue.
A couple of things to keep in mind. There's no TV, which for us was perfect but if you have to have one then you'll be disappointed. When we stayed, the curtains weren't thick enough to really block the street lamp light, which is right outside the Cloche windows. But, I know Charlotta is aware of this so it could be different for anyone who stays from here on out.
We loved this property and would definitely stay again!!

Beautiful Hudson Getaway
I wanted to surprise my boyfriend with a great place to stay while we were in Hudson for our anniversary, and the Hudson Milliner fulfilled every expectation. When I saw the photos of these rooms a few weeks ago, I knew I had to get something booked ASAP. Charlotta was a massive help in getting my reservation confirmed, and the welcome letter she and Shannon provided with tips for things to do in town was so great to have. This is easily the most attractive place to stay in Hudson. The interior design is gorgeous -- there's so many little touches that we noticed during our three days in the Cloche room. It's centrally located on Warren St. and it was wonderful to get up and walk just a minute to Moto for iced coffee in the morning. I can't recommend this place enough. Looking forward to getting back and staying at the Bowler room next!

Perfect
Beautiful, comfortable rooms, full of character and charm.
Charlotta is a painter and restauranteur, who grew up in Iran and Germany. Her paintings tour the States and they are inspired by the police mug shots of the heroic Bus Boycotters and Freedom Riders from the '50's and '60's. Her restaurants Chez Oskar and Lola are located in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.
Shannon is an advertising photographer from New York City, who challenges big waves, plays street basketball and studies jiu jitsu whenever he isn't shooting a photograph or renovating a gorgeous building.
Why they chose this property
Great for urbanites in need of sun, space, luxury, antiques, fine dining, nature walks & culture: located on the main drag of Warren Street, it's a 10 minute walk from the train station. Once a milliner's hat shop built in 1860, you are transported straight into another time the moment you enter. Many original details are still in place: pre-tin plaster moldings, solid mahogany stairwells, pocket doors with etched glass inlay, large mahogany framed windows and gorgeous hardwood floors. The kitchen and bathrooms have been carefully renovated to fit in style with carefully selected and restored fixtures, such as an electric stove from the forties and a refrigerator from that period as well. Add central air, high speed internet and a washer/dryer on premise: the perfect getaway.
What makes this property unique
As busy New Yorkers we understand the need for R & R. We liked the idea of a B&B, but had something a bit more intimate in mind: a romantic place, going back in time, where our guests could come into town, immediately immerse into the surroundings and also if need be withdraw and cook for themselves in a spacious retro kitchen. In another words: a romantic spacious getaway with the beauty of clean air and a country vibe along with the luxury of great restaurants, live entertainment and quality antiquing/shopping
