The cottage is ideally situated. It’s a short walk to the beach and places of interest like the Dickens museum. There are many restaurants a short walk from the cottage. It is warm and comfortable, with a nice kitchen and living room. We enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed are stay at the cottage and can recommend it as a good place to stay.

Gorgeous, very well equipped cottage in excellent location!
We loved staying at Seaview Cottage! It is beautiful and brilliantly equipped... we didn’t need for anything! The lovely sandy beach is just a short 5 minute stroll away, which was ideal for our nearly 5 year old daughter. Thank you Emily for a wonderful break, we will definitely be back, next time for longer!!

Lovely quiet location but so close to the town
We were there for the folk festival so it was perfect - a quick walk to the main street and so quiet.
Only a few minor issues - the washing machine did not work and only 2 dishwasher tablets provided which seemed a little mean given what we were paying for the week!

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and for bringing to our attention the issues with the washing machine which we will have fixed asap. Apologies for any confusion regarding the dishwasher tablets, we don't supply these for our guests so these may have been left over from a previous guest. We hope you had a enjoyable stay and look forward to seeing you again soon

Gorgeous property in perfect location!
We loved this house, it was perfect for a family of 4! It is beautifully finished and has everything you need. The location is perfect, just a short stroll from the town, beach and harbour. We didn't use the car all weekend. Access and parking were tight but it wasn't impossible by any means and the house and location were well worth it. Thanks so much for our stay, we'd love to come back soon!

Thank you for taking time to write your review and really pleased you had a great time - look forward to seeing you back at the cottage again soon!
This is the third time we've stayed at this property over the past decade. That alone should say something. Works great for myself and my two daughters and the best thing is it has parking, which is a rarity in Broadstairs. Saying that you need a small(ish) car as it's very tight getting in and out, but we already knew that.
We would have appreciated a small welcome pack i.e. milk etc, as is provided in other properties we have rented, thereby saving us having to go to the shop as soon as we arrived.
The property was delightful and beautifully decorated. There was a problem with parking and we were blocked in on many days. There were builders with two vans nearly every day we were there which meant that other occupants of the other cottages had to park where they could which caused the problems we had.

Wonderful Weekend
We enjoyed a lovely Easter break in the cottage. The cottages itself is clean and comfortable. We particularly found the bed very comfortable. The refurbishment has been completed to a high standard and we rather enjoyed listening to the Sonos system whilst in the dining / kitchen area. The location is great. Central without the noise. It is literally a 2 minute walk to the main streets and although it is down a single track it is well lit at night. The neighbours at number 7 were particularly pleasant and very helpful especially when it came to the parking arrangements. Highly recommended.

Had an enjoyable stay, clean and comfortable, very handy for the train, didn’t need to use the car at all. Will definitely be returning
to Broadstairs, loved it.
Good s/c property for mobile adults; would accommodate children, but confined spaces. Steepish stairs and limited shady back yard with table & chairs. Modern kitchen appliances and cottagey furnishings. Parking tricky, as narrow shared area. Great, central location.
Lovely place , well kept , great location. Can't go wrong !

Not bad but not great
Just about ok only one single bed made up.. it was very cold when we arrived it would have been nice if the heating had been on.solidified coffee in coffee tin.. no books in lounge ..dishwasher needed attention looked full of limescale..much further to the cottage than shown on the website.. very large clock in kitchen..no battery!. I think just a little more attention to detail would be good ..

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We take great pride in the presentation of our cottage so its disappointing to hear a guest has not enjoyed their stay. We don't have our own website so we are unclear on the point made around distance and not sure what the distance referred to is from and to but can personally vouch for the fact that it takes 5 minutes to walk to the town centre and Viking Bay. Its difficult for us to comment on the choice of some of the interior finishes mentioned as our guest feedback suggests that they love them. Our cleaners have been to check the dishwasher today to ensure it meets our high standards. Thank you again for taking the time to give us feedback. Emily
Loved the cottage, most equipped property I've stayed at. Very clean and in a great location for restaurants, bars and shops. A very friendly informative owner, always happy to communicate, would definitely stay again at No 8!
We had a lovely stay in Seaview Cottage - we didn’t want to leave! The location is perfect - quiet but very central. The cottage had everything that we needed. It is cosy and charming. The beds are very comfortable and we felt very much at home. We’d love to stay again.
Lovely three night stay in this house - it was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. An easy walk into town and the beach and the local shopkeepers and restaurant staff were all really friendly and helpful. The only issue is with the access to the house in the car - I know it has been mentioned in previous reviews but it is VERY tricky to negotiate and you need to be pretty confident at driving in reverse unless you drive a very small car!
Very close to centre of Broadstairs where there are lots of lovely bars and restaurants. Cottage spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Sheltered little court yard with rattan furniture so great for evening drinks. Would not hesitate to return.
We very much enjoyed our stay in this delightful cottage. It was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was a good size and well equipped, with a nice sized dining table. The whole property was beautifully decorated and as described.
The only downside was the parking which was quite tricky! Definitely not suitable for a large car, this is mentioned in the description but maybe not emphasised enough.
The booking process and communication with the owner was very good.
Overall we would be be happy to recommend this property to others.
The cottage is exactly as described. Spotlessly clean, small but perfectly proportioned. The kitchen had lovely crockery, lots of glasses and everything you need including tea towels and sponges. The bedlinen and bath towels were soft and fluffy, beds were very comfortable and lovely pillows. The small courtyard garden was pretty and had a nice table and chairs. The location was perfect, 2 minutes walk to the high street and and a short stroll to the beach - The Pathway is down a very narrow lane, you definitely need to drive a smallish car!
We thoroughly enjoyed Broadstairs, lots of great restaurants, we particularly enjoyed the Thai restaurant, Siam Kitchen.
We would 100% recommend Fishermans Cottage, you won't be disappointed.

Sea View Cottage
It is a very well maintained property and is very comfortable.
The only criticism is the cracked sink in the kitchen.
The main problem however is the parking. Very difficult to get down the track to the cottage and it was difficult not to get wedged in by other cars parking in the nearby cottages. This outlined earlier in the cottage details.
