About this property

Stunning View -best location ! Walk everywhere

Beautiful views over Viking Bay from the lounge and dining room. Lovely spacious first floor flat, newly renovated with mid century modern theme. Probably the best location in Broadstairs. Overlooking the beach, it is literally minutes to everything that Broadstairs has to offer. Main Bedroom has super king double bed , second bedroom two 3ft singles. Fully equipped new kitchen and bathroom, and a second toilet, with use of roof area to sit and relax after a long day at the beach. Restaurants and bars of warmth and character are a short stroll along the clifftop. Broadstairs has a micro climate giving a good chance of sun and warmth in summer, but even in winter you will come back from Broadstairs refreshed and revived!
Broadstairs has golden sands, safe swimming, and lots of history to discover. Dickens was a frequent visitor in Victorian times and is still celebrated today in the pub names, Bleak House and Dickens Week ( around the third week in June) when locals dress in costume for the week and there are many events to attend. Not to mention Folk Week every year in August.
Please note there is no parking at the property, but full instructions and options are provided before arrival, with the furthest option only a 5 minute walk away.

This property was spacious and offered all we needed on top of being in an ideal location.

All round this property offered us all that we needed. The views from the lounge kept us all entertained when we were not out on the beach. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. A very pleasant stay indeed.

We have stayed here before and love this property. It really is the perfect location for a stay in Broadstairs. So close to the beach and other amenities, and what a view!The facilities have an interesting retro vibe (1970s) which we love, but unfortunately on this visit we found a few things that needed some attention. The front of a drawer in a bedside table came off and needed pushing back on, as did part of a small side table (probably just needs some new wood glue!) The large coffee table in the sitting room is a bit wobbly now too, and a footstool there had a staple sticking out) That being said, the facilities were clean and there was everything we needed, including plenty of things to amuse our 6 year old granddaughter when she wasn't enjoying herself on the beach. We will definitely stay here again, and would recommend to others.

Fabulous flat overlooking the beach and promenade

Hi, we loved the flat. The views were amazing. It was quiet, comfortable and light and had everything we needed. It was in a great location and convenient for walking along the coastal paths and catching local buses and trains. Great for people watching too!

Broadstairs in May

We have made many visits to Broadstairs but this was the first time we've rented self-catering accommodation which was a great success. The flat is in an ideal location close to to amenities and the sea front. There are stunning views from living and dining rooms. The flat is spacious and comfortable. Access is a bit quirky and not for anyone with mobility problems. The local contact, Tye, was very helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

Wonderful stay!

We love this appartment, it’s luminous, spacious stylish with some parts of the interior from the seventies. Furthermore direct view to the sea. Very well equiped, everything one needs. Hazel is wonderful, very quick responses and uncomplicted support when needed.

My family have a long connection with Broadstairs, coming here year on year for our family holidays.
We grew up on the golden sands of Viking Beach, and loved it!
Now we are pleased to share our love of Broadstairs with you!

This flat was purchased by my parents in the 70's and many a sunny week was spent here. Now owned by myself and my brother, we both live overseas( New Zealand and Germany respectively)
but we enjoy coming back for family get-togethers whenever we can.

Please note response to enquiries may not be very fast. Time difference between UK and NZ is about 12 hours. If you book late in the day it will be faster!

Why they chose this property

My parents loved the location. Nothing much has changed since their time, except perhaps more and far better restaurants.

What makes this property unique

The flat is perfect for enjoying the beach, the restaurants, the walks, the shops, the cinema, watching the world go by.
We love the fact we can forget about the car for a few days at least.
