Cottage completely renovated in 2016. All the equipment is new (appliances, bedding). Classified 3 stars by the tourism committee
Our gîte including:
Living room of 34 m² with fully equipped open kitchen (dishwasher), sofa bed and television
2 bedrooms (1 bedroom with a 140 cm bed with storage cupboard and 1 bedroom with 2 90 cm beds and 1 large chest of drawers)
1 bathroom with bath, separate shower and sink
1 separate WC
1 storage room with washing machine and wardrobe
Outside, a 24 m² terrace with garden furniture and barbecue
Below the cottage, a shaded private garden is available without vis-à-vis the owners: wooden picnic table, lounge chairs

Sylvie and Patrick were wonderful hosts. Very welcoming and friendly. The property was set in beautiful grounds and had everything one would need to have a lovely holiday.We would recommend this property.

Everything we needed

This was perfect for us and would happily suit a family of four. Walking distance of the town centre and well placed for the whole region. Kitchen was fine for cooking and plenty of fridge space.

We were welcomed warmly by our host and hostess. They helped us with our luggage and gave us very complete instructions for how the various amenities worked. The apartment was very clean and well equipped and we had no problem cooking many delicious meals. The meals were made more delicious by our family giving us fresh vegetables from their garden. The apartment is situated where we had gorgeous views from all the windows. The area is filled with wonderful places to visit and our hosts were very helpful with sharing info. We had to leave pretty early in the morning and our hosts were there to help us with our luggage and to see us off. I strongly recommend visiting this area that is not as well-known in France.

Our four week stay was great. Sylvie and Patrick were perfect hosts. We had everything we needed. The gîte is a short walk to Les Eyzies and away from crowds. There was more than ample room for the four of us.

Beautiful position in the Vezere Valley

The area around Eyzies has fantastic scenery and marvellous caves and museums to visit. The gite is situated a short walk over the river into the town, where there are restaurants and bars. The riverside walk into town is delightful. Being on the south (shady) side of the valley, the gite is in the shade in the afternoons, and was then a little chilly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and M and Mme Dalbavie were excellent hosts. We would recommend this as a great place to experience the area.

In the heart of pre-history of the dordogne

This little gite is perfectly situated for all the pre-historic caves and grottos. Inside the house has everything you need for a comfortable stay Great comfy beds Very well equipped kitchen Powerful shower Outside there is a little garden with loungers and chairs for you to use Very close to the Vezere river where there is a river walk or you can hire a canoe to enjoy on the river....highly recommend this little gite

Surpassed all expectations

The pictures and the location convinced us to rent this gîte, but the photos and write-up do not do it justice. The property is lovely and scrupulously well-maintained, and the kitchen is as well equipped as mine. Our hosts were attentive and very busy maintaining the farm surrounding the property. There were walking paths, donkeys to give carrots to, and even a walking path into Les Eyzies, about a 20 minute walk.

Charm charm charm!

My husband and I enjoyed the rustic charm of this gite (French for vacation cottage). We highly recommend it. Just the facts: Lovely hosts! Wonderful location on a farm one minute from the town of Les Ezyies. Charm charm charm! You will be staying on the second floor of the stone barn across from the hosts' stone farmhouse. Spotlessly clean. Excellent, fully equipped kitchen. Great value for money. More details: We are travelers from the United States. We speak some French. This holiday rental had features that were new to us, such as: Our host supplied linens for a small extra fee. (I think many European travelers bring their own?). Also, electricity use per day beyond a certain meter reading is charged at an extra fee, although we did not exceed that use. Considering the extremely reasonable cost of the rental, both of these additional fees seemed fair. Inside, the house was comfortably but not lavishly furnished. One charming detail was the embroidered starched cotton window coverings on all of the windows. As mentioned above, the kitchen was excellently supplied. There is only one bathroom, and the plumbing seemed less new than the kitchen appliances. Being able to look out the window at the hosts' home, seeing the smoke coming out of their stone chimney, and glancing across the hydrangeas to the country fields wawaswaswonexperienced.

Beau gîte! Parfait pour une mise au vert

Un séjour de 3 jours certes court mais dans un gîte de très belle qualité, avec une vue magnifique. Rien à dire sur la propreté et les équipements (il y a de quoi faire en vaisselles ). La literie est confortable et propre!Maison spacieuse, jardin très arboré et fleuri, très bien entretenu. Les alentours sont très beaux, belles balades/randonnees/découvertes de châteaux et grotte)!Et pour couronner le tout, les proprio sont très accueillants et gentils. On retient l’adresse car on y reviendra certainement ! Allez y les yeux fermés.

Gite parfait pour un séjour en Périgord

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans ce gîte. Il est très bien équipé, bien situé, les propriétaires sont très accueillants et disponibles pour toutes questions. La vue sur la falaise des Eyzies depuis le jardin du gîte est vraiment magnifique! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir pour découvrir d’autres sites du Périgord!

À réserver sans hésiter !

Logement impeccable, et très bien placé face au rocher des Eyzies. Idéal pour un séjour en famille dans la belle vallée de la Vézère. Les photos ne mentent pas : la pièce à vivre est grande, les chambres aussi, même la salle de bain ! Et le jardin est très agréable. Les hôtes sont adorables, ils nous ont accueillis chaleureusement à notre arrivée, nous ont laissé de très gentilles et jolies attentions, et étaient présents pour notre départ. Vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés ! Merci encore Sylvie et Patrick pour votre accueil des plus agréables !
