Wonderful property

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. It is furnished with great taste and has every convenience. The terrace is lovely and we enjoyed most of our meals there. And the pool is most enjoyable and clean. Very convenient - a 10/15 minute walk into Aix en Provence.

Peu conforme a la description

Si vous recherchez une maison de ville, que le vis a vis d'un grand immeuble ne vous gene pas, si vous n'etes pas regardant sur la proprete et etes indifferent a l'herbe rare et seche du jardin, cet endroit est pour vous. Malheurement, les photos comme le descriptif ne sont pas representatifs des lieux. Je passe regulierement 2 semaines a Aix l'ete et ai loue une multitude de maisons. C'est la premiere fois que j'ai finalement decide de quitter les lieux apres 4 jours - et du louer une autre villa (que je peux pour le coup vous recommander a 200%). Bref, outre la deception et les desagrements logistiaues, ces vancances m'ont coute cher. La proprietaire n'a pas fait le moindre geste. Bref, peut etre que pour un weekend focalise sur la visite du centre ville, la maison est acceptable (cela dit, la proprete resterait un probleme) - Pour des vacances d'ete, pas (du tout) a la hauteur. Desolee de ces commentaires mais souhaite eviter a d'autres cette triste experience.

Désolée que notre maison ne vous ait pas convenu. en 15 ans de location vous êtes la seule insatisfaite. Dommage que vous ne vous soyez pas présentée ni au check in, ni au check out. Cela aurait sûrement évité des désagréments. Le descriptif de l'annonce est clair quant à la situation de la maison et les photos sont celles de la maison telle qu'elle est. Le "grand" immeuble dont vous parlez (chambres universitaires) s'il est visible du chemin d'accès ne l'est plus ni dans le jardin, ni depuis la maison. Quant à la propreté de la maison, j'ai moi-même participé et supervisé le ménage qui a été fait à fond et dans les règles de l'art comme d'habitude. En revanche, après votre départ j'ai récupéré les canapés tachés de teinture rose, les tapis souillés et votre jean dans un des placards de la cuisine. Enfin aucune de vos remarques ne justifiait un geste commercial, vos attentes ne correspondaient simplement pas à notre offre.

Incredible! Provencial living at it's best!

Our family of 8 stayed at Helene's beautiful home in June for a once-in-a-lifetime return trip to the town we had lived in for two years back in 2002. We absolutely LOVED this property - one of the very best we've ever stayed in! It was spotlessly clean, well-appointed and decorated and just a short (15 min) walk into Aix. The pictures don't do it justice, trust me! It is a huge home with lots of room to spread out. The pool house - on the back side of the property, has a lovely open sitting area, as well as the 4th bedroom/bathroom combo. This was ideal for us - giving us even more room to spread out. The pool was delicious. It was hot, hot, hot while we were in Aix, and after our many day trips (Cassis, Les Baux de Provence, Gordes, climbing St. Victoire) we were always EAGER to jump into that cool, refreshing pool! Helene could not have been more hospitable and easy to work with. A delightful French couple with superb Provencial taste in style! Stay here! You won't regret it!
