Great host and chalet
Great chalet.
The owner/host and local property manager were top-notch and great to work with. Both made a big effort to establish all needs ahead of the stay and the latter met us at the property for check-in and check-out. Very professional.
The chalet is traditional with modern upgrades, including a small but full kitchen, three full baths, and a basement garage/entrance area for equipment. It has amazing views toward the east, north, and south including the Aiguille Du Midi on the shoulder of Mont Blanc. Many an hour were spent just soaking-in the views.
The dining/living room area is tight, but was comfortable for our party of five. It should be noted that there are four bedrooms, and the fourth bedroom is passed-through to get to the third bedroom with it's private bath. Perfect for a couple with two small children who want to be part of a larger party.
We were visiting to ski, and it was simple to get a bus at the bottom of the hill to all ski areas. The Flegere cable car is about a 15 minute walk, but we spent most of our time skiing Argentiere Grand Montet due to conditions and terrain.
The house is in a great location. It is a ten minute walk to Praz for simple provisions or apre ski at Le Petit Social (very popular with all age groups), and a 20 minute walk to Chamonix Centre for entertainment, dining out and more serious provisions. Very convenient.
We had a wonderful time and hope to return. Thank you Francis and Noella.
