This cabin has two queen beds; one downstairs & one in a large loft. The cabin sleeps up to 5 Adults. Cumberland Plateau Cabins have all the amenities for your convenience: pots, pans, silverware, towels and linens are all there on your arrival. We accept pets with a $50 fee for up to two pets per visit plus tax. Additional pet is $25 per pet if approved.

Amazing Stay

The place was great! This cabin is the most private but all of them were nice, quiet private and it was wooded and gorgeous scenery and relaxing, pictures are exact accurate description of property and the property manager and owner were so kind and greeted us to say hello and give some info about the property and the rest of the time we wouldn’t have even known anyone was around! We would definitely come back again, we were obly about 15 minutes from the Falls state park which was a great place to visit thank you! 😊

Cabin trip

This cabin was amazing. It was everything my neighbor said it was and then some. It was very easy to find and the Host Cheryl was super sweet in coming over to introduce herself and make sure we were comfortable and let us know not to hesitate to reach out if we needed anything. The cabin had everything you would need! Will definitely stay there again. Was also very close to fall creek falls.

HATE TO LEAVE THIS PLACE!

This is our 2nd time here & we LOVE IT! It's a BEAUTIFUL place to visit & it surely is a peaceful retreat atmosphere!!! We love Jim & Sheryl! Couldn't ask for better host!! The hardest part for me is leaving the scenery BUT most of all, leaving Sunny (the resident mascot-CAT!). We can't wait to come back soon!!! Fantastic Experience

My partner and dogs stayed here over Thanksgiving and loved it. Very warm, cozy cabin with Wifi and Dish TV. Fully functional kitchen, nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Firepit was easily accessible as were the woods where we could walk around. The property manager was friendly and easy to reach as well. Great experience all around!

Beautiful cabin for a week of hiking to water falls

Cabin was just right for 2 of us and our Beagle. Cozy and warm even with a cold snap. Enjoyed the woods and visiting deer outside the back porch. Property manager was quick to respond when we needed a porch light replaced. The location is perfect as a central location to visit state parks with cliffs, gorges and waterfalls.

Wonderful cabin with attentive host

The cabin was cute, clean, cozy, and exactly what we were hoping for. The fire put with swings plus the sleeping loft were a favorite of our daughters. The host was very responsive and kind, and came by to personally greet us. We also loved that we were able to bring our dog along with us for the stay. We will be back!

Fell for the Falls at Hickory Springs cabin

Beautiful and well maintained property in the Tennessee woods just a short drive from Fall Creek Falls. Super clean and all the supplies needed for a cabin get-a-way. The swings and fire pit make for peaceful evenings and the new small lake added is just gorgeous!

This cabin was perfect! It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Jim, the owner is great. The property is gorgeous and it's located near a lot of falls in the area. The price is fantastic. Our teenage girls loved the loft. I loved the washer and dryer! It really was better than expected. We will be back next year.

Peaceful and secluded

We loved the little cabin sitting midst the trees and spotted a couple of deer on the property. Perfect getaway for peace and quiet. Also beautiful waterfalls just a few miles away. The place for a nature lover !

Mini vacation

We enjoyed our stay very much. It quiet and serene. We spent one day at the Fall Creek Falls park and one day just relaxing on the deck and sitting at the fire pit swinging. We walked a trail with our four legged babies and napped a couple of times. A much needed long weekend of R and R. Thank you for such a quaint little cabin.

Great, quiet getaway!

We had a great stay at the Hickory Springs cabin! Owner, Jim, was a pleasure to meet and we appreciated the hospitality. The firepit, rocking swings, and walking trail around the property all made it a great little getaway and close stay to the Falls!

About the host

Hosted by James M Campbell

As a 2004 retiree and needing something to occupy my time I decided to open a cabin rental business. This occurred after winding up with more cabins than I could use at one time. Since then we have added additional features and at least two additional cabins to create a more complete offering of choices to our customers.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the area several years ago while passing through on the way from GA to KY. Since originally being from TN, the Cumberland Plateau seemed to offer all the serenity and beauty I was looking for.

What makes this property unique

The quite and beauty of the Cumberland Plateau is a natural attraction and is what brought us here in the beginning. To be able to enjoy all it has to offer on a continuous basis is amazing.
